I'm Hooked on this Stuff
I was given a present of Azouro Olive Oil and all I can say is, "I'm hooked".How am I supposed to go to back to other regular olive oil after this? Not only does the bottle look great on my counter, next to my retro Philippe Stark Lemon Juicer, but the stuff tastes delicious. I can't go into all that aromatic jargon about flavor because I've no clue about toasty after tastes and the essence of freshly mowed lawn but I did notice a slightly peppery thing that is so unbelievably delicious, especially when you dip bread in the stuff. The other thing I really noticed was how clean it tastes, not like most olive oil these days, you know the ones when you look at the back of the bottle or can (for you bulk olive oil buyers) and it says, "olives sourced in Greece, Italy, Spain, Bulgaria and the Lebanon". I guess when you source the olives from the one place they have a cleaner, rounder, fuller, flavor, as opposed to sourcing from numerous places where they just seem to be competing with each other for bitterest olive of the bottle. All I can say is,"Please start shipping this stuff to the US, because I'm about to run out and things could get ugly, at least on my counter, unless I get more soon."

I'd never really paid much attention to the differences in the quality of good olive oil
Prior to a visit to Porto earlier this year, I'd never really paid much attention to the differences in the quality of good olive oil, but, in an excellent restaurant (Ode) we were given some bread to dip into their olive oil and vinegar....and then I understood...beautiful.So good, that on returning to the UK, set out to source some olive oil from the Douro region and found Azouro. My only issue with this product is that I cannot use any other oil now - the depth and quality of flavour of Azouro is exceptional and makes other oils taste bland in comparison.I find that "tasting notes" (as with wine) are somewhat subjective and so won't attempt to describe the subtleties. All I can say is, try this oil - I doubt that you'll regret it.

Find this olive oil super. Really tasty and it has a lovely colour
I've had to buy another bottle!Find this olive oil super. Really tasty and it has a lovely colour. I would recommend you try this portuguese oil - definetely giving the italians and spanish a run for their money. And to top it - the bottle has a very funky design - looks great out on the counter or on the table. Well done - Azouro.

Eccellente
Sull'olio extra vergine di oliva ero prevenuto, supponendo che solo in Italia si possano trovare prodotti buoni.Invece quest'olio portoghese mi ha stupito. E' veramente buono, delicato dolce e simile in qualche modo all'olio ligure.Da provare.
