Pimpernel quality and cooly classic design
I was replacing a 30 year old set of Pimpernel mats that were chipped and discoloured and, as a wedding present, never a design I chose. I was confident in the quality of the brand, and I picked this design because it is neutral, abstract, and natural. It fits the rest of my table setting very well, and I'm very pleased.

Brilliant larger size for which fits a bowl and dinner plate together.
Great quality and size. Its so difficult finding these cork backed placemats in a larger size and with this modern print.Looks really good on our grey dining table.

Poor Quality
Not sure how to contact the supplier! Very disappointed in this product only used a few times and already has blemishes on the surface of the mat. Not all mats used yet ( I bought 12 in total) not holding my breath that the others will not do the same. I thought they would be of a high quality they are not holding up very well!!

Marble
Used these guys for a few weeks and they are solid, good looking and really easy to clean.

Poor surface durability
I have had these placemats for about three months and have taken care of them as recommended. There has been an obvious deterioration of colour and the surface is starting to erode, as shown by the two white marks on the surfaces of two of the placemats.

Not the greatest quality
Coming away at corners but certainly not water damaged. Wont Last too much longer before replacing unfortunately

Beautiful surprise
These are perfect for my glass top table. Pretty enough to leave on daily. They look fabulous with both contemporary and traditional settings great value for the money. Easy to wipe clean. Sorry for the sun spots but y get the idea. Happy here!

Grosse déception
Pour moi Pimpernel était une très bonne marque, fiable, robuste et durable. J'ai reçu les sets aujourd'hui mercredi 21/2/24 après midi et le soir même en mettant la table, assiette + couverts, je me retrouve avec déjà une encoche au revêtement, alors que je n'ai même pas utilisé le set, ni lavé, ni essuyé.Le revêtement est très fin et de mauvaise qualité et s'abime extrêmement rapidement.Rien à voir avec la qualité d'avantVraiment très déçue...

Verarbeitung top, Motiv enttäuschend
Die Untersetzer sind, wie von Pimpernel gewohnt, sehr gut verarbeitet - man findet keine scharfen Kanten oder sonstige Unsauberkeiten. Die Größe reicht völlig für Glas, Besteck und die meisten Teller (bei größeren Tellern, z.B. Pizzatellern, hat ein Glas keinen Platz mehr), und auch mit heißen Gegenständen bleiben die Tischsets formstabil. Die Oberfläche ist außerdem recht unempfindlich gegen Kratzer.So weit so gut. Leider finde ich jedoch das Midnight Slate Motiv ziemlich enttäuschend. Was auf dem Produktbild klar und dunkel wirkt kommt in Wirklichkeit sehr blass und unscharf daher. Es wirkt so, als würde man das Motiv durch eine satinierte Glasscheibe betrachten. Das kann Pimpernel definitiv besser - beim 'Parisian Scenes' beispielsweise ist das Motiv klar und deutlich.
