I’ve been using Penetrex Daily Joint & Muscle Care Cream for about a week now on my lower back and knees, and the difference is noticeable. The texture is smooth and non-greasy, which makes it easy to apply (especially appreciated since I often work late and want something simple). The scent is very mild and doesn’t linger, a nice change from other rubs I’ve tried. After applying it in the evening, I woke up with significantly less stiffness and fewer “ouch” moments when bending over. I still have a little discomfort (I mean, I’m not in my 20s anymore), but the relief is consistent and real. The only minor thing is that it’s a bit pricier than standard store-creams, so I’d say if you’re looking for premium relief it’s absolutely worth it.

I tried this to see how my pain would respond to cool menthol cream treatment and it worked well the second time it tried it when I was more generous with the amount of cream I spread. The smell wasn't strong and the cream non-greasy. However the next few times I used a smaller amount and could not feel the cool sensation but my pain did vanish after several minutes or so. This was good but I dislike the packaging as it is way too small for regular use and the cream comes out very slowly. I have a hard time pressing the tube to get a sufficient amount to rub on my painful areas of ankles and hips. I get a dime size dollop when I really would like nickle or quarter size. And the tube is so short I feel there isn't enough product to use it once a day, let alone two or three times as needed. And it is expensive for the amount of only 2oz. ! The size offered needs to be increased, the dispensing hole made larger and the cost brought down to make it more affordable for those of us who need to use it regularly.
