Last ages and good value for money. pretty shaped jar, I put mine in a small salt pot on the work top and keeps it flavour well. if looking to buy truffle salt, do try this one first

I've only had one other tub of truffle salt and it was a random italian brand bought at the Japanese salt Emporium Ma Su Ya (if you like salt and you find yourself in Japan, GO!) Having run out of salt crack with gigantic bits of truffle in it, I turned to amazon to help with my salt addiction.This one, not so much. I don't really appreciate finely grounded salt for sprinkling on top of food and the fine mix of salt and truffle just really doesn't do it for me. The flavouring added to it makes the scent overwhelming and it just doesn't have the delicacy of my last tub. To add insult to injury, somehow when added to food you get a massive kick of salt but not so much truffle. I don't mind it but it's certainly not addictive!*N.B the salt in the picture is coarse ground with lumps of truffle, it's not what I received. I got a very finely grounded, very salty, very overwhelmingly smelly version.

Very good quality. It gives the food a rich taste. Definitely better than normal salt.

Salt is very fine, more so than the brand I purchased in France but still fantastic sprinkled on soft boiled egg.
