Excellent Hakko quality
I bought these as spares for my Hakko soldering iron. I am still using the first one I got and it has not had any issues or need for replacement but I wanted to have some spares just in case. An excellent product and quality every time!

Worth every penny.
You can get a pack of five or six tips for less than the cost of this one. But, after a few intensive soldering sessions the cheap tips basically corrode away. Not this one.The saying 'you get what you pay for' is 100% accurate here. It's been used for several weeks and still shows no signs of corrosion or blackening that the cheap ones do.

Great quality precision tip. Good heat distribution. Easy to keep clean. Hakko is the only brand I’ll buy now.

Makes SMD with the Hakko iron a joy. Can't do without this for fine pitch QFPs.

Tip soft and bends easily. Disappointing at this price.I'm wondering if this tip is in fact Hakko.

Not good
Not that good to be fare. The end of the tip is not hot enough to do the job intended for. Unless you turn the heat right up but then it just burns. I ordered 2 so hopefully it was just one bad one from the batch.

Tip doesn't take solder, I will have to try manually re-tinning with lots of flux
Good thermal mass but solder doesn't stick. I am going to try adding more tin onto the tip.

These tips last longer than other brands I have used over the decades.
Soldering iron tips are a consumeable product, and will wear out from extended use. This brand routinely lasts longer than the brands we used previously.

Good solid tip.
Good quality and the size is perfect to get into tight spots. I got this one because I had read that some of the other brands weren't as good quality, very happy with this one.

Perfect tip for micro soldering.
The fine tip makes this perfect for micro soldering. Fits my Hakko FX-600 iron. Excellent quality. Even heat distribution.

Hakko Excellence
I have used knock off solder tips on my Hakko iron and I always find myself coming back home to Hakko tips. Durable, even heating, no surprises. Good stuff. Recommend.
