IRWIN Tools Combination Square, Metal-Body, 16-Inch (1794471) , Blue

I've had a couple of the cheap and nasty lightweight versions that quickly go rusty and leave you unable to read the markings. This will last many years if looked after. Accurate with stainless rule. The only problem I had was one corner of the rule had a minimal burr, but easily corrected with a file.

Great product. Very good quality, 100% square. I brought a Stanley Rabone combination square before this which I had to take back to the shop as it didn't read square and the finish was rubbish, the paint was flicking off out of the packet and there was overspray on the thumbscrews. No such problems with this, spot on!

I bought this one and smaller one after going into reviews in great length , brilliant and solid , well worth the money for what I needed

Not as accurate as my B grade engineers square out of the box. Had to do a bit of filing to make it just right but I think for woodwork it should be fine without any tweaking.

does everything I want it to and accurately. The Combi square also has an excellent feel to it when in use.

I now have four combo squares and this is not only the best, but also the squarest of them all

very robust and sturdy square, you will not buy better for the money .
