Great series
We borrow this series from our library. Such a good first reader book. Keeps my 7 year olds attention.

This series made my nephew a reader
In Kindergarten, my nephew hated skill and drill of sight words and reading the mandatory books assigned by his teacher. In first grade, he discovered this series, and it was a game changer. He has transformed into a voracious reader. Recently he had the opportunity to meet Mr. Pallota, the author at a local book store. He not only autographed his book, but he signed my nephew's book that he wrote based Mr. Pallota's book series. This author is top notch in my opinion. He is inspirational and made a very positive impression in our family's life. Thank you, Mr. Pallota, for inspiring so many young readers!

Love these books
My kids and I both love these books! Over a few years we have ended up buying every one in the series. They are fun and informative. My kids can’t wait to see which animals will be matched up in each book. This is a another good one to add to our collection.

Great Book
Always delivers great books. This author is one my son has every book he has released. We don’t know Jerry Pallotta but my son has always loves his books from Construction Alphabet (has 3 copies) into the “Who Would Win?” Series. He connects well with kids and definitely great books for boys.

Son loves these books
As I'm sure many other children out there do, my 1st grader absolutely loves these series. Although he is quick to point out if the book is "wrong" and the other animal would have won. Good memories!

Great, but gruesome
Terrific drama nature book. Kids love it.

Cover in English. Book itself in Spanish.
Book is written in Spanish so is useless to the child it was bought for. The cover is written in English. This is very misleading..

Great series of Readers for Young Boys!
These books are great at tricking reluctant readers into reading! Drawn in by the eventual beast showdown, educational facts and information is provided to peak interest and set the climate.

One of the weaker efforts
We have all of the books in this series and my kid loves them. However this one has only 2 pages of actual “battle” and multiple pages of filler about dogs. The actual battle is way too short and doesn’t include the usual scientific info that kids like. Would pass on this one if you’re not a collector.
