I use this on my rabbit run, garden benches, fly screen, and window frames. Seems to keep the bugs at bay except really big blue bottles. I couldn't say why, but the only bugs that ever come in my house after spraying this on the fly screen are big, annoying blue bottles. Not mozzies, not crane flies, not little flies. Just huge blue bottles. I almost think they like the stuff.On sunny days it requires a frequent re-spray, as the volatile essential oils deteriorate quickly under UV... this is why different reviewers give different timings.For any bun owners considering this product to help keep mozzies and green bottles (flystrike culprits) at bay; do not use directly on your rabbit! It is safe for horses because they do not groom themselves and each other in the same way as rabbits (plus they are much bigger). You DO NOT want your rabbit ingesting this stuff. Essential oils and avocado are highly toxic to buns when ingested.Do not use in poorly ventilated areas, only outside or on door/window frames, and when the buns are somewhere else.

Does help with sweet itch flies still land on my horse OK on open sores

Smells nice and is keeping the ticks away from my horse. Definitely recommend

Very good fly spray ...although doesn't last very long but I guess just buy a bigger size if you can :) barrier products are very good in general though definitely a brand I trust

I've been using barrier for years and I find the same thing every year. It's fantastic at the beginning of the year and towards the end but during middle of summer it doesn't quite provide enough protection for my boy and I have to get hergewitch. That being said we stable near water and he is very fine skinned. It's definitely one of my two go too repellents though and the coat conditioner is a total asset.
