Good quality
Was able to install fairly quick. Looks and feels like good quality. Fyi, the threads on the brass threaded attachment are sharp. Had a few cuts on my fingers after installation.

Great upgrade look for an older tub and works good. Install is harder than other drains
This is a nice upgrade for our tub, but you must be aware that the install is a little more difficult. You should get a plumbers wrench that removes drains, they are not expensive and make all the difference. Also take you time and clean off everything before reinstalling. Use the gasket correctly, watch a video as there are no instructions. The only thing I did not like is the screw used on the top drain piece is not well coated so when you tighten it you may have to touch up with black paint or marker.

Nice replacement plus some installation tips
Was replacing an old rotted tub drain that had been installed old school with loads of plumbers putty. The old drain base was cast metal screwed into a brass adapter fitting. Used a Superior Tools drain removal tool to get the old drain out. Do yourself a favor and get one of these, it makes drain removal a snap.Once I had the old drain out and all the plumbers putty cleaned out and the area around the drain outlet cleaned up I set about installing this new drain. In my case I had to use the adapter collar to fit properly into the brass fitting. TIP: Get a tube of plumbers grease at any hardware store, Lowe's, Home Depot. Use it to lightly coat all the threads of the new drain and coat both sides of the rubber gasket. It'll make everything slip together like a hot knife through butter. You'll thank me for this tip later. Once the base was installed just wind the the plug section into the base. That's all there is to it.
