Cheap, rough - and do the basic job
My nails are weak and tear all the time. These are great for getting rid of the rough edges and stopping the same nail tearing further. They aren't expensive but they are quite rough - so not what you want for a fine finish at all. As long as that's what you need, like me, they are great.

Very thick and harsh
Might be my fault but these emery boards are very thick and quite harsh on my nails. Think they might be more for acrylic nails.
