Installation was fairly easy, once I read and followed the instructions. Our previous fixture was a frosted glass dome which blocked about half the light. This new fixture obviously lets more light through due to the “doughnut” shape. Ultimately I’m happy with it, as it is more functional and stylish than what I had before, while not being too expensive.

Just the light I was looking for! Needed to replace our entryway ceiling light fixture. So happy with this purchase, fairly easy to install, looks amazing with lightbulb on hand. Seeking a clear bulb as pictured online, so will eventually switch it out. But that’s my preference, it looks great!

Love these clean looking and modern fixtures. Put three in my entry hallway and they look perfect. Reduced one star because one fixture can cracked but it was replaced quickly. Used a LED 11W Sleek brand square (looks like puck lights) bulb which is compact and fits well inside. Available on Amazon.

Really affordable and looks great. Highly recommend looking for specialty bulbs that are shorter and wider so it doesn’t stick out from under the glass. Look on bulbs.com for “disc lights”

Pretty! Easy to install! I put it in a small hallway. I wish it fully covered the light bulb but that might ruin the modern vibe and I would be back to a boob light.

Wired my first light! Very sturdy and nice light. Make sure to get right bulb since there is not cover Ofer the bulb.

I absolutely love this light. Its the perfect size for above my kitchen sink. I recently removed a few cupboards so this is a nice subtle statement piece that gets recognized by family and friends. The package arrived in an unbranded cardboard box with some tape. I'm unsure if this is standard packaging, but it would be nice to see a bit more branding to accompany it. The finish on the gold section Is very nice. Smooth but not shiny, and the glass is a milky white colour. Installation was easy, as most ceiling lights are. - turn off breaker - remove old light - install plate - white to white - black to black - copper to bracket The provided wire nuts were better than expected, and screwed down nice and tight.

I was in a rush to complete our reno, and as the fixture I'd ordered did not end up coming in, I rushed to get anything in just as a placeholder. Turns out I quite like this fixture and it suits our transitional space really well. It is unobtrusive, but nice when you do notice it. For the price, amazing. It will take some time for me to find a worthwhile replacement...if I ever find one! I'll always be saying, "yeah but this one was only $70!" though ideally I'd have a fixture that uses 2-3 bulbs, instead. My only minor complaint is that I'd rather have a fixture without an exposed bulb, since I prefer a softer diffuse light in the room. But on the other hand, this makes the bulb really easy to swap out. I use a G2/G80 globe-shaped bulb (regular E26 base) with it, which works well with the look. I do love that the fixture uses a bulb and isn't an integrated LED, which seems entirely wasteful.

I previously left a negative review for this item for reasons that were due to my own errors and inexperience. I am now updating with an accurate review and photos. I got this light fixture for my front entryway. It came well-packaged; completely encased in Styrofoam, so I feel like the chances of it breaking during shipping is very low. The fixture was easy to install and everything went smoothly. The wires within the fixture seem to be off good quality. The lampshade is what caused me some issues, again, completely my issue, not the items, but once figured out it was easy to attach. The shade is glass which is a HUGE plus. My only recommendation is to get smaller bulbs. The one I have in right now is from my old fixture and it sticks out.
