Used this set mostly for cleaning and maintaining my leather handbags, and shoes, it works great. The brushes are soft enough that I don’t worry about scratching the leather, but still firm enough to get the grime off. The smaller dauber brush is perfect for getting into corners and seams. I wasn’t expecting much for the price, but I’ve been pleasantly surprised. The microfiber cloth is a nice bonus too—good for buffing things out. Nothing fancy, but it does the job well. I bought this for my son to take with him to college. He finally got to use and it worked well. His only observation was the big horse hair brush tended to shed a lot. I'm not too worried about it for the price and it was still able to get the job done. This is a great starter kit to help your kid maintain their leather shoes.
