Knit Pro KP47402 Zing: Knitting Pins: Double Ended: Set: 20cm, Metal, 200

This set of dpns - five each of 2.5, 3, 3.5, 4, 4.5 and 5mm - worked out cheaper than buying the four sizes I needed (£21 with free delivery as opposed to £6 for each individual set of five) , with the added bonus of a case to keep them all tidy and (hopefully) reduce the likelihood of losing any down the back of the sofa. The different sizes are different colours (though I don't know if they match the Knitpro zing single ended needles by colour to size), so it's easy to see if the ones you're using are all the same size - surely I'm not the only person to have accidentally mixed up sets before? The feature I really like is that every individual dpn has the size clearly printed on it, so you don't have to try and remember which metallic colour equals which size, or keep a sizer to hand. The points are fairly sharp and wonderfully smooth, while the pins as a whole are lightweight and easy to manipulate. I opted for the 20cm set, as I find the slightly longer length easier to use than the standard 15cm ones.A suggestion for improvement to the manufacturer would be to look into a more reliably permanent way to mark the sizes (by etching perhaps?) as I think the white size printing on the dpns might be rubbed/scratched off over time (the same issue exists with the interchangeable Tunisian crochet hooks). The other thing I think it's worth pointing out is that although the zipped case is handy, it isn't of the highest quality, and I'm not sure how long the zip or little elastic bits that hold each set to the middle section will last. Not a complaint exactly, as for the price I consider this to be excellent value, but something to be aware of.All in all, a great quality product at a reasonable price, and definitely worth considering if you need a few different sizes.

Great set, five of each size, colour coded to size, really smooth and a pleasure to use, all in a great storage case.

Although i would prefer wooden needles, these are perfect for the smaller, thinner sizes as it assures there are no breakages. They are easy to distinguish due to the colours and you can easily see the sizing with the writing on each needle. The hard case is very nice and keeps all the needles safe inside which is absolutely worth paying a premium for.The sizes for the 20cm needles are 2.5mm, 3.0mm, 3.5mm, 4.0mm, 4.5mm and lastly 5.0mm. You get 5 of each needle size. Absolutely perfect. Thank you very much for your products. I have many of your needles and i love them!

These are a joy to use. The colours make them easy to distinguish as well as the clearly printed mm labels on them.Even though the ends are added metal tips they are practically flush with the main body and as such you can only barely feel the slight ridge, even then it’s not on every single needle.I find the coloured part is ever so slightly tactile enough to give enough grip to yarn helping it to stay in position and not slip off, which is a great relief when you need to use just two needles for a bit.Overall they’re really smooth, a nice light weight and much stronger than plastic DPNs. Even though they’re a bit pricey the organisational case and the quality of the needles make it worthwhile. Hopefully I’ll have these for many years to come.Shame the same couldn’t be said about the prime delivery.

I'm a bit of a zing fan and have both sizes of Dpns. I like to use these as cable needles as well as for sock work. It's a nice set at a reasonable price.

Great value and a brilliant introductory set but I have had to glue the cords back in - they seemed to give out at the same time which tells me that’s the glue they’ve used failing rather than overuse - but to be fair it’s a small job, the joins between cable and needle is smooth and I live knitting with them

Smooth, well made and comfortable. I have these in two lengths, these shorter ones are great for mittens.

Love KnitPro products. These metal double-pointed needles are so smooth it makes them easy to hold and to knit with. The yarn glides over the surface with no risk of snagging. The bright colours are beautiful to look at and makes it easier to identify the size as they are colour-coded and colour match other single-pointed needles in the same range.

Absolutely love these needles. I have the straight needle set and the circular needles and decided to get these DPN's. Best decision ever. A few of the needles had a bit of a rough edge but I solved that by using a cuticle board and used the #4 or #5 side of the board.. a bit of polishing and they are as smooth as butter. I would highly recommend anything from Knit pro.

Bought these to do a workshop learning to knit Christmas trees and they worked perfectly. Fantastic price for the set, didn’t realize the case came with it and was pleasantly surprised

Super Qualität und es lässt sich sehr gut mit den Nadeln stricken. Die Maschen laufen gut über die Nadel, nichts bleibt hängen. Kann ich nur weiter empfehlen!!!
