Amazing pallette for my acrylics, I'm very happy with it. It seals and keeps the paint fresh for days. It's sturdy and the size is good for standard use, there's been times where I wished I'd gotten the bigger one, but that's me being messy and still experimenting a lot. Great functionality, great value for money in my opinion and overall an amazing product to have.

A must have. If you’re considering this just do it. It’ll make your life so much easier

Very good compact size and the water retaining material is very effective. However, I did find that the acrylic paint did dry out a little, compared to other stay-wet palettes. However, I find that by using other manufacturers paper on top of the base stay-wet material, it works brilliantly. Good water-tight lid and convenient size and shape.

Handy for keeping paint usable as long as you remember to re- dampen the sponge every now and then . I re- mist my paints with a spritz of water and flow improver as well . Then pop it in the fridge . So far I’ve had no problems and have been using it with the same paint 5 weeks . The palette is made of solid plastic and easily clicks into place . Size wise it’s fine for using outdoor painting as it it a small one definitely going for the next size up for painting at home though . Wished I’d bought one years ago

I can see why others may think this is overpriced as it's just a plastic tub but honestly it's worth every penny. You couldn't get something like this that's perfectly tailored to use as a paint palette. Very well made and it will be airtight for years I have no doubt. Wouldn't bother with the stuff it comes with, I always just use J cloths and baking paper - Works better and so much cheaper.

I use this for keeping my paints on when I'm model painting miniatures and terrain. It comes with the sponge and some sheets which are really for use with heavy body acrylics not what I use so I just use parchment paper instead. Its really shallow which is a huge plus so I don't have to reach in to anything and it's kept my acrylics from drying out for a few days at a time. I've had no problems with it so far, the plastic is quite sturdy but I did slightly bow the top after putting something fairly hot on it but it went back just as easy.

This is a small stay wet palette and as you go up in size so does the price On the face of it the pallette and the sheets to go in it look like extra expense but the amount of paint you save soon means it pays for itself You need to keep it flat during transporting in the bottom of your art bag One positive that all acrylic painters will appreciate is that having mixed a background colour or something requiring a fair amount of paint if you have to go back in to your painting at some point and now have to remix that exact colour you have to somehow allow for colour shift in drying. Needless to say if you mix up more than enough it wont help unless you have some way of keeping the paint from dying out and that's where this stay wet palette comes in You can choose colours ,mix them stop half way through the painting, and still find the paint you need ready to use for days

Wonderful product. My paints I mixed 2 days ago still fresh. Earlier I would go restless when the paints dried very quick on an open pallet.

I'm new to acrylic painting. It's extremely dry right now in winter in Wisconsin, and my paints dry almost instantly on a palette. I was starting to get used to throwing out all the paint on my palette every time I put down my brush. Saw this product and thought I'd give it a shot. Wow, it really works! If anything, too well... my thick, heavy body paints are becoming a bit wetter than I'd like as they sit on this palette. Even a very thin film of paint on the wet palette paper will not dry, even in very low humidity! Not sure about months yet but it lets me use the same blobs of paint for days in a row. No more wasting tons of paint or squeezing out tiny bits of paint at a time. Couple tips: 1. The sponge looks like it's too long for the palette but it's not once you wet it. Don't trim it. I made this mistake. The instructions say this but I read it too late. Not a big deal but now my sponge is a bit too short for the palette. 2. Don't put down HUGE (tbsp+) blobs of paint unless you are using them right away. The paint will spread into a broad puddle over a period of a few days, and/or start to dry and skin over at the top. 3. Don't leave tiny sharp peaks in your blobs of paint, because the tips of these can start to dry, skin over, and make little paint boogers. The moisture comes from underneath. 4. Don't tip it! Your paint will slide around on the wet paper. Keep it on a level surface at all times. It's not particularly portable. Big fan. Hey Masterson, give me free stuff.
