Da Vinci Permanent Hair Colors(3.4oz) (4N_Brown)

This is a lovely shade, and we really like the color. However, I wanted to warn people about one potential problem. This is NOT a self-activating dye. When I ordered it, I didn't know I'd need to separately purchase developer before I could try this. Lots of bright dyes are self-contained -- they either come packaged WITH developer, or they don't require developer. It's not hard to find (stabilized hydrogen peroxide) but it's not something I keep on hand for hair care, because I've never needed it before. Maybe it could be suggested as an add-on when people buy this? If it had been suggested, I would've bought it at the same time I bought this dye. Other than that, I'm happy with the color.

Deep thick color. Didn't break hair. I've had blue hair for about two years. This is one of the best . I used develop 20 . Came out the prettiest Navy blue ever. Perfect for me

1) don’t forget, you need to use developer with this. If you just use it straight from the tube without mixing it with developer, it will not work.2) this produces a navy blue in about 20 minutes, and it’s a permanent navy. It will fade over a few weeks, towards a dark greenish-blue. I found it unpleasant in all stages.3) It does bleach out with 20 developer and bleach, and without too much damage.I am not a fan. But it does what is says on the tube.

I love damaging my hair at 30 vol just for absolutely no color to deposit after 40 mins. I didn’t mix it roughly, I mixed it PERFECTLY. I did everything right. When I washed it out, my hair looked the same. Sending it back and getting a refund cause there’s no way I’m paying for a product that damages my hair and doesn’t color it.

It’s kinda worked. I bleached my hair prior and my hair somehow turned two shades of blue and some random greenish spots. Gonna darken it tomorrow so it’s at least all one color. It looks good with a Snapchat filter though 😂

Great! You will need to buy developer. I used a 20 vol. Obviously like any color if you have dark hair and want a really vibrant blue you're going to have to lighten your hair 1st. I love this blue.

A coworker recommended this color and although it's very nice, it was an auburn color. I was wanting a true, deep purple/plum. So, I had to buy another purple dye to color over that color but it still shows thru quite a bit.

I used 2 bottles of this on my hair.....NOTHING. I ordered this for my birthday and i'm disappointed. Im unable to return it. I want my hair to be blue.
