This is a great thermos! It keeps the hots hot and the colds cold. I bought it to replace another thermos that could not keep food hot for my daughter's lunch for 5 hours. This one does! One suggestion is to put hot water in it and seal tightly for 5 to 10 mins then empty and put your food in. Goes 5 hours no problem, even comes with a spoon-- which your kids will lose in no time but I really liked the thought!

Bought this thermos to keep my kids pasta warm for lunch. It says keeps warm for 6 hours and my son eats lunch about 4 hours after I pack it so this is misleading. His lunch is room temperature when he opens it up.

Been using this perfect little thermos for my 1st Grader. Food is always hot, 4 hours later and it’s easy for him to open! Stainless steel inside and the gasket on the lid comes out easily for cleaning. The handle on top is a nice feature and the foldaway spoon is handy! Great buy!

Perfect size and nice size opening. Unfortunately, food does not stay hot. I prewarm the container with boiling water and soup is merely warm at lunchtime. I make my lunch at 6 am and lunchtime is around noon (give or take 30 minutes).

Top is difficult to come off for school age children. Otherwise, keeps food hot all day long as promised.

I read a bunch of thermos reviews before choosing this one. I preheat it with boiling water, and then fill it almost all the way up with boiling contents. My child's food is still hot enough for school lunch 5 hours later. We also love the handle and built in spoon.

I warm my kids' food at 7am and it is still warm when they eat lunches later at school. One child eats at 11am and the other at noon. Both agree food is surprisingly warm.
