To remember her incredible talent
This album contains some of the purest, sweetest sounds ever sung. Her seemingly effortless high notes are the best ever recorded...they ring so clear, so beautifully I find myself listening as hard as I can, not wanting to miss even the smallest portion of each note produced. All that talent and personality. I wish I had found her sooner, I would loved to have heard her perform live.

Excellent CD. Nice selection of various operas, with Montserrat Caballe amazing voice. Sound quality very high. This two CD set is a nice addition to opera fan collection, and of course, although not MP3 download, it can be converted easily for home digital library.

The selections are excellent but the audio quality is terrible. Does the later EMI issue have better processed sound?

perfect contrast to callas
A recent convert to caballe but what an amazing voice. Incredible range that effortlessly switches from low to high notes. Never thought I would hear a soprano that I liked as much as callas but now I have.

A bit on the heavy side for me - particularly CD2, but she has the voice of an angel. Delivered on time as usual.
