I did a lot of research and read a lot of reviews before buying this carrier. As far as I can tell there is very little difference between any of them apart from price and number of doors. Ultimately, I opted for this one because it had provision for seat belt restraint.I was a little apprehensive because it was one of the cheaper ones but, I have to say, it's of excellent quality for the price. I needed 2 for my 2 kittens but cautiously ordered the one to check it out. I have now ordered another one!Strong and sturdy and I love the green colour! It only has the one door but I have used boxes in the past that had a top loading option and I found trying to put a cat in through the top when he doesn't want to go in it, to be virtually impossible without getting scrammed. I am also wary of top loaders as a door with carrying handle attached that takes the full weight of a loaded box doesn't seem very safe to me.This box is perfect for my kittens. I have left the box open for them to explore and they freely go inside it of their own volition.I would have no hesitation in recommending this cat carrier and if I could have given it 6 stars, I would have!

After looking at every cat carrier on the website and dismissing the ones that were too small, too big, difficult to assemble, etc. etc. etc. I finally settled on this one, and its perfect for Romeo. Romeo is a fairly big grey tabby and this carrier gives him enough space to be comfortable. it is also very sturdy and the clips at the side are very easy to fasten. The only niggle I have, along with others who have reviewed on here, is that the handle is extremely difficult to fit but by heating the handle in either hot water or by using a hair dryer it makes it easier. Otherwise I would certainly recommend this carrier

We've had this pet carrier for 18 months now and it is without doubt the best I've come across yet. Our cat is just under 5kg and this carrier is the perfect size for him. No so big that he's lost in it, but not too small that he can't move about. We've had many trips to the vet (he lost a leg) and so we've perfected the art of getting him in and out easily (take the top off but leave the door in situ, put him in and quickly plonk the top back on). The hole in the top has been a great help for giving him a bit of comfort on journeys to the vet and back, plus the compartment for treats is a great little addition too.It feels sturdy when you carry it, although I confess to always having a hand underneath if possible and the seatbelt slots mean he's really secure in the car.All in all a fabulous and durable product that I would recommend and is worth every penny.

Clips broke on the first use

But the clips that hold it together do have a habit of undoing themselves. I’m half scared it’s going to come apart all the time. It loads of room for my cat. He likes to use it as a bed too!

Easy assembly, good size for our 13 week old Bichon puppy. He walked straight in first use and no complaints from him during 2 hours drives. Fits fine on our back seat and simple to thread seat belt around. So far no down sides found after three weeks of use

No where else to get in the UK.The box have a perfect sice for my cat.In the upside, middle are "hooks" where you can fix a seatbelt.The uk boxes are not so stable with the seatbelt, but this one you can buy in Germany and it is very solid.

Instructions could be better. Certainly larger diagrams would help but my husband, and my 29 year old son who has no eyesight issues, struggled to put it together. We have 13-year old cat carriers with the same clips to join top and bottom, and I don't remember the same problems assembling them. My main complaint however is that the top door hinges come undone when you open the door, although they are perfectly secure when door is in closed position.Carrier perfectly sturdy to contain a 9-wk puppy throwing a tantrum at being in her crate when she doesn't want to be there. However it does need support on either sides otherwise it does roll over.I was happy to pay what it cost because I wanted to start pups crate training straight away. I do think that the length could be a bit shorter on the basis that if puppy has a lot of space then more likely to toilet at one end and sleep at the other. Regarding value for money, I would envisage that pup will have grown out of it by the time she is 12 weeks (so perhaps 4/5 weeks use), but by then I'm hoping that we will have nailed crate training and she will be happy to move into a bigger crate; and she'll be well on the way with toilet training and door control.. And once pup is too big, our cats are very happy sleeping in it (we travel quite a lot with them) and will be happy to lend out to anyone at our dog training club provided they aren't worried by the door issue.I spent quite a bit of time looking for the carrier which met my training criteria, and despite the door hinge issue am happy that it keeps pup safe and secure when she's in it.
