These are simple and sturdy plastic shelves that we've loaded up with a bunch of garden equipment without any sign of a problem. We had them recommended by Amazon to use with our Lifetime brand Vertical Gardenn Store, and they fit wonderfully well. They run exactly from front to back if orientated that way, and also about halfway across the Lifetime storage shed if orientated left-right, so they're perfectly suited to use there.But these are so simple-looking and surprisingly solid given their lightness, that you could use them anywhere. On a worktop in a utility room, to hold stuff in a personal gym (although I'd definitely put anything heavy on lower shelves and take real care not to overload). They're a bit utilitarian to be used anywhere that decor is important, although if thats your "look" then go mad with them!So, how easy are they to assemble, given that they come in a small package that looks like an oversized custard cream biscuit? A doddle. If you've ever used Lego or any derivative set of building blocks, you'll have these assembled within 60 seconds, and twenty of those will be getting the cellophane off the items. Put the tiny short feet into the bottom of one of the shelves and stand it on the floor. Stick four longer tubes into the holes in the top of that, and put on the next shelf, then repeat that step until you run out of bits. Job done.I honestly didn't think I'd be this pleased with such an inexpensive buy, but I am. They do the job with no fuss.

Great value for money. Sturdy shelving to accommodate my bed linen and towels in a wardrobe. This product has more weight bearing per shelve than some wooden shelving I viewed.

I love doing DIY. This unit took 5 minutes to put together so it robbed me of having to put my brain into gear too much figuring out which part goes where (hehe). In fact if you include unpacking it and checking all the parts were there - then 10 minutes!Seems sturdy enough but I haven't put anything very heavy on the shelves. I was expecting it to fall apart (as it had no connecting nuts, screws, bolts etc) as I carried it outside to one of my sheds - it didn't!

I do not write reviews very often but I am very impressed with this shelving.I have always used metal shelving in the past as I thought they would be stronger.Using metal shelving in an out building caused them to attract condesation and to rust.This shelving is very solid, strong and easy to assemble. The spacing between the shelves is great and you can fit 5 ltr containers with plenty of room above. A well designed shelving system.The parts are a good tight fit and I used some mild soapy water to aid fitting and a rubber malletwhich helped so as not damage the parts. It was put together in minutes.

This shelf unit was a lifesaver , I've been drowning in clutter and lack of space in my tiny studio flat ! My main aim for buying this was a) to tidy up a jumbled load of stuff on the floor behind the living room door, (large tubs of odds and ends and some substantial rice storage) and b) to store some rarely used kitchen appliances that were taking up precious counter space in my tiny kitchen .It was REALLY easy to put together , 5-10 minutes tops , I thought the top shelf was insecure until I realised I had to apply some brute force to ram the sealing plugs down onto the rods ! (the side of your fist will do ,just make sure the rods are lined up with the holes when you ram the plugs down !) (I'm a 55 year female and a total weakling , I didn't find it hard lol !)Freed up a lot of kitchen counter space with all those appliances on !BRILLIANT buy so pleased, I shall probably get another one to go at the back of the room for more clutter !I hope this review and the accompanying photo have been helpful.
