It goes into detail how the paper is created from rags is then broken down into individual fibres and then reformed into paper highly recommended.

I was delighted to find this substantial book, which is the classic work on the history and technique of Papermaking. By Dard Hunter, it was first published in 1943. Very detailed and great addition to my reference collection
