The sensor obviously detects vibrations. Whenever my dog does the "doggie shake" it beeps. Drives my wife crazy. I'd rather hear the beep than a beagle bark.

Bought this 4 one of our dogs we have three gave it to wife for Christmas present for her dog that barks excessively without cause. this was at Christmas time and we tried it right away however there was a house full of dogsWho were barking and setting it off so we took it off and put it in a drawer for a month or two took it out of the drawer and put it on the dog and found that it did not work at all. Outside Amazon return. And the seller was no help.when I bought the thing it had more positive reviews on it and then it does right now it appears that I got click farmedAnd Amazon later corrected the bogus reviews but it didn't help me

Does not work as described. Only beeps randomly. I bought it wanting the shock option after the warning beeps. It only beeps inconsistently when the dog barks...it does not shock (as we needed) the dogs get use to the beep and ignore it because they know that no shock is coming if they continue. Once the battery dies (After a couple weeks for ours) new batteries don't work as well as the original and you will be forking over lots of $$$ to keep it working. Save your money, do more research and buy one with better reviews!

They suck! Batteries don’t last long.Sometimes they worked and sometimes one dog would pick on the other by barking into the one dogs collar causing the dog to get shocked that didn’t even bark. They would also beep if the dog shocked there head. Overall there very cheap. We bought some from pet store that’s rechargeable and they have been great

Cover came off the battery compartment after a month, can’t find it, doesn’t work now. My dog is all of 7 pounds so I can’t imagine it was due to overactivity.

This product did not work when delivered. It requires a 6 volt battery that costs more than the collar. Had to return it due to not working. First bad experience with an amazon endorsed product
