Great set. Just remember it's 50% lego size.
It does say not compatible with lego, but odly I didn't think it meant smaller. It's not the super small stuff that you can get, but more 50% size. Not a problem tho. Looks good. Fits well. My 11 year old son loves it as he loves Japanese style kits.

Amazing detail - hours of fun and challenge.
We have really enjoyed making this model - it took a little while, which only adds to its value. At first we thought it wasn't the whole model, but the making just kept on going.

Very giftable!
The media could not be loaded. I have bought this as a gift so cannot yet comment on the actual set but I wanted to share how amazing the set looks, in fact I made a short video. Can’t wait to see the recipient open this on Christmas Day!

Excellent little project!
Excellent quality micro bricks. Stickers included some spares also. Some bricks even used pre applied transfers / prints. My girlfriend was very happy with the product!

Small pieces and fiddly but fun
The set comes divided into little bags, but it's all randomly assorted and they don't seem to be grouped together in any sort of helpful way, which is obviously a little inconvenient, but nothing majorly off putting. The set comes divided into little bags, but it's all randomly assorted and they don't seem to be grouped together in any sort of helpful way, which is obviously a little inconvenient, but nothing majorly off putting. This set has so many little pieces to it that I think it's going to take a while for me to complete. Before I could even start to think about building it I had to spend ages organising all the bricks and pieces in to a storage case. Another slightly inconvenient thing about this set is that the instructions are printed onto one enormous A1 sheet instead of a booklet. But the instructions are well illustrated and reasonably easy to follow. All the pieces are well moulded and made from good quality plastic that has some give to it. All the pieces fit together securely. However a brick separator is included incase you go wrong. If you have patience and enjoy a challenge this will be great but if you get frustrated easily it might not be for you. I would say it is for teen to adults rather than children due to the small pieces and complex build.

On receipt of this my initial reaction was that the box was not very big, upon opening of the box and viewing the bagged pieces, i was of the opinion that the pieces to be assembled were not very big either. As if in some way small pieces may transpire to represent poor value for money, i feared the worst but proceeded to open the bags regardless, luckily so as this is where you start to admire that there is both a point and a target audience for this product, though maybe not where the manufacturer intended.Liken it to rally driving and i think you'll get the drift (pun intended) read on.........PackagingThe packaging is nice enough, a decently branded box is supplied if gifting.ContentsThe contents include an instruction sheet, suitably thick as there's lot's to do, four separate bags of pieces for assembly and a sticker sheet for application once/during built/build.So what has this to do with rally driving? It's the fact that it requires two people, a driver and a co driver, both are reliant on the other in order to succeed and without one or the other it's difficult to finish.looking at this product which states for ages 6+ the pieces are way too small and fiddly for adult hands and/or eyes, the instruction sheet meanwhile is too in depth for the average 6yr old, however as a combined project it might just be something that can be enjoyed by both parties. As an example out of the box a solitary person is made up of at least double the amount of pieces that competing products may comprise of, the pieces are tiny but remarkably detailed and there's 722 of them.Limitations as per use could be based on the subject matter, it's a bit niche and very Japanese, though that was the point in generating the series and potential buyers will obviously notice this beforehand. Also on first impressions it seems a bit expensive, but on closer inspection the pieces albeit tiny are beautifully formed, the question you need to ask yourself is does size matter?Recommended with a Co Builder
