This is the best umbrella I've ever owned. Love the green and the build quality is exceptional. I can't wait for it to rain. Will easily cover me and by backpack heading to class.

Absolutely worth every penny. I just received it in the mail and it feels very solid. Eggsy and Harry approved. 👍There’s very little flex or bend in the stretcher or ribs. There is no top spring, so it will not lock in the open position. Will it ever matter? I don’t think so, unless you’re moving headfirst into extremely heavy winds, then I suppose it’s possible it could collapse back into the closed position. The center ball spring is so powerful though, I think this is very unlikely.It is absolutely charming and sophisticated though. A couple of tiny dings in the wood handle only add to its charm. It not only keeps the rain off your head, it does so in style. A perfect umbrella for a couple out for a night out on the town, or 18 holes on the golf course, but also inexpensive enough to use for everyday tasks.A word of warning though. If you don’t possess a mediocre level of strength, especially wrist strength, it may be quite difficult for you to handle this umbrella. It’s heavy and it’s long. Trying to keep it stable by holding it from the handle on a windy day, will definitely require two hands. I expect many will try to keep a grip higher up on the tube, but even then, the extra large canopy will catch the wind like a sail. Just something to be aware of.

I like the color (mine is green), functionality (goes up and down easily) and size of this umbrella. Works great for dog walking in the rain.

That might not seem like a raving endorsement, but the last two umbrellas I have had have crumbled under the slightest of breeze. This one tried to take off like a sail, and WITH STOOD some wind!! Wow!!! Granted it was the first use to the umbrella and it wasn't hurricane force wind, but seriously.....I am happy so far that this umbrella has functioned! And it didn't cost an arm and a leg. A bit more pricey I suppose, but not unaffordable AND it kept me and my two kids dry at the bus stop! Nothing fancy, but seems sturdy, and it is fairly large, idk if I would call it a two person umbrella, but it was big enough for us....if we got cozy. The fact that the standards are so low for an umbrella that it can withstand a light Midwestern rain is kinda pathetic, but I was pleased it survived so long as it keeps withholding standard weather I will keep this rating. If it crumbles at the sight of a stiff wind.....I'll be back, but it really does seem sturdy enough to survive a storm...just an opinion tough.

This umbrella is built to last. Pleasantly surprised by the size. The umbrella is easy to open and the wooden handle makes it easy to hold and I don't find the umbrella heavy to handle. Very well made and I love the carrying case with the strap. Highway recommend it the price is right.
