The material has a durable feel and the stitching has a clean finish. You have to place the entire wrap in the fridge for cooling. It would have been nice if there were removable gel packs. The design is comfortable with a soft lining, but it is bulky and not conducive to movement while in use. Overall these are good quality and would be good for icing after exercise or injury. The main downsides is that the gel pack is not removable and the bulkiness of the wraps.

Since I'm doing a lot of physical therapy I mostly got these as a precaution, thinking I might never need them. Surprise! Today I tripped on the curb outside of my house and fell hard on one of my knees. So glad I already had these in the freezer! I've used the knee pack 3x today, and it's been a huge help with the pain and swelling. Instead of trying to lean forward and hold an ice pack in place for 20 minutes, I can sit back and relax once the pack is on. They're both reversible, with a fuzzy side and a smooth side for different cooling intensities. I haven't used the colder smooth side yet, but the fuzzy side feels very soft and comforting against my bruises.I'm not a large person, and both packs are a bit big and bulky on me, especially the ankle pack, but they both come with long padded velcro straps that allow me to secure them firmly in place, so the size isn't an issue. While designed specifically for the knee and ankle the two shapes are very versatile. Because the knee pack is flat it should be useful for icing most other parts of the body, not just the knee. It would also be possible to use the ankle pack on your arm if you bend your elbow first. I'm happy they thought to include 2 bags for storing the packs in the freezer, so they're protected from direct contact with ice build-up and packages of food. Overall I'm very happy and would highly recommend this set!

These ice packs are really nice. They has a soft soft and a smooth side, so you can choose whichever side you want. There are two ice packs, one for your ankle and one for your knee. You freeze the whole thing prior to use. They are a little large to put in the freezer but otherwise these are pretty cool.
