Works great!!
First thing, I’m not a groomer, just an Oorang Airedale owner who is like 8 hours away from the nearest groomer who does hand-stripping. Picture 1 is before on her back, pic 2 you can see her side is “in process”, pic 3 is after on her back.Second, these tools took way longer to come in than originally estimated (I’m talking like add an extra two weeks). These were the perfect size for my hands, but I’m a woman with average sized hands. They are very high quality, and sharp. They clean easy, and I thought they worked great. I did a lot of YouTube video watching to get the hand motions correct, so if you are doing this to save money you need to do the same thing.Hand stripping is a LONG process on my dog, who is 70 lbs, so consider if your dog can take that. But the amount of hair you get off will astound you. I promise. My dog is definitely happy to not have the extra fur weighing her down during summer, and this is a healthy process for wire-haired breeds. Very similar to sheep that have to be sheared because they can’t shed the hair naturally. Can’t wait to do it again in a couple of months!

Works grest
So much better than the furninatoe. As long as you hold the hair at the base it doesn't hurt the animal.

Does the trick.
Im still working to get my springer spaniels coat right - after an inexperienced groomer shaved him down all over. This has been a big help!

Stripping knives
We have been using these for the past few months with no problems. The knives are designed for easy handling and do the job with ease.

nice grade of knives
I have two Schnauzers and I have decided not to clip them but to card and strip them instead. I like the outcome. The natural coat is a much nicer, better coat for them instead of clipping them and dealing with all of the undercoat which makes them hot in the summer and if they are clipped, they are cold in the winter. Stripping the coat is to me much nicer and natural looking. You could still trim with scissors to reduce the length of hair

Use these to pull the undercoat from Cavaiier King Charles Spaniel
Use these for a carding technique on our Cavalier. Really helps remove the undercoat and pull hair out during a bath and grooming session that would otherwise end up on carpet and clothes. The combs are very well made and I use them dry and wet without rust

Works great for my Brussels Griffon
These are the only combs that have worked on my dogs terrier like coat. It pulls a lot of the dead coat out. (Not even a generic furminator would work on her coat) These are by far the best priced set I found anywhere online. I just want to point out that these are designed for right handed. They are well made and good quality.
