Plastic composite material is too stiff, the battery doesnt seat properly due to unaligned slot and drone is not very fast
This is a great beginner drone as it has very docile flight chatacteristics even in high speed mode i think. However one of the landing skids broke (shattered in two pieces) when it took a hard landing, possibly due to the stiff composite material. The material should be more flexible like the parott drones. ( I’ve hard landed my parrot mambo drones numerous times with just nicks or scratches as a result) . Anyway, I did not land th X1 manually but rather it landed by itself when the battery became low. Which brings me to the battery. Once the battery is about to run out there is no audible warning. Drone lands itself from wherever it may be but seems to land very hard on asphalt. Thus the reason for the landing skid breaking off. In addition, the battery does not fit properly in the drone. The little tab on the battery does not align with the slot of the battery bay so the battery sort of is just held in place with friction. The problem with that is sometimes the battery doesn’t charge due to not being seated properly. Additionally, if the battery shifts and disconnects in midflight that could be catastrophic. If these issues are fixed it would actually be a very good drone as it looks very good and has really good flight characteristics for beginners
