Hi a medium is for a UK size 10 - 14 . I have taken it out of the packet and the chest measures 34ins to 38ins(stretched out) waist measures 32ins to 36ins(stretched out). The fabric of the bodice does have a bit of stretch(stretched out measurements are not pulled out to the limit ) hope this helps

Hello,Thank you for your messageI would suggest going for the small (8-10) as it does have some give in the material and so this should be about right for you.Just to confirm the small is for UK 8-10 but does state USA 10-12 & also the medium is UK 10-14 but will state USA 14-16 on the packaging.
