Comfy, Great sound, Good Price
I brought a pair of these upwards of 5 years ago and they had reached the end of their life. I'm a bit of a creature of habit, so I was very happy when I found out that they still sold them (or incredibly similar) all this time later.I listen to music on average around 5-6 hours a day on a mix of headphones, phone or speaker system and I've never had a problem with these headphones, which is clear from going back to them.I have to say though, a new pair was like breaking in leather shoes. The adjusters are stiffer and they aren't stretched or fitted to my head and the earpieces actually click back into place which is nice. The biggest shock was the 'pads' on the ears. On my old headphones, I'd worn them so often that they'd cracked and the foam had broken up so I replaced them with some spare ones my Dad had off of some expensive broken Sony Volvo headphones. I was so used to these more expensive ones that the little circle ones it comes with felt hard against my ears. But considering for at least 4 years I had the original ones, it couldn't have been that bad, I've just got used to better quality. Needless to say, I transferred my better ones over and now my headphones feel perfect. (It's really easy to switch them over if you want to)I also find the built-in mic works well and I use it when on online calls on my laptop or calling people on my mobile and I've never had an issue. For noise cancellation... I'm not sure? I listen to my music loud enough that I cut out the outside world anyway but they don't actively cancel noise like more expensive models. So, for the price they give good sound and fit and pack up small enough to fit in a small (phone-sized) handbag. I'd definitely recommend it for those looking for headphones without all the bells and whistles or on a budget.Hopefully, in another 5 years, they still make them and I can get another pair...

Works with PS4
BOUGHT FOR USE WITH PLAYSTATION 4Bought for 15 quid (half price) cheaper option to PS4 official headset. Confused us at first because voice messages came through the TV... But chat comes through the earphones which is primarily what we wanted them for. It looks like the reason why the voice message comes through the TV relates to the PS4 itself - we're new to PS4 and are still learning how to use it.VOICE CHAT = ONE EARPHONEIt's weird that voice chat on the PS4 only comes through one of the earphone, but we again think this is the PS4 and not these headphones, just can't be sure exactly what's to blame because we're new to the PS4.ALL-GAME-SOUND = BOTH EARPHONESWhat *is* nice is that in the same settings, we can set all sound to come through the headphones, and when that happens it comes through both headphones.[Note we haven't tested whether doing this changes how chat comes through or whether it still comes through on one earphone yet]VOLUME NOT EASILY ADJUSTABLE WITH PS4 USEThere's no way to set the volume on the headset itself, but it seems via the PS4's settings there is a way to adjust the volume that it outputs. So there's a way around that problem, it seems, even if it's a little cumbersome. That said, unlike the XBox 360 (our last gaming console) the sound that comes through the PS4 as default seems far superior in quality anyway. So actually at its default setting, we didn't really have a problem. Also even though the mic is not adjustable, our friend said he could hear us just fine.MIC FUNCTIONS FINE FOR PS4It *is* able to pick up sound from a distance, which is kinda nice as it means our friend can hear when either one of us sat next to each other speak. That might be a problem for some people though! I would need to ask my friend to tell us whether that only happens when one of us wearing the headset speaks (to make the mic work as it detects sound but then keeps going until it detects a significant drop in sound) or whether like those damned super-sensitive turtlebeaches sets, it picks up ever little sound including if your cat coughs on the other side of the room. We don't know that yet.Overall though, we're pretty happy with the product. Granted we've only just bought it, but it seems to be as well-made as all Sony headsets are. [I'm still using the headphones I bought for my Sony walkman nearly 6 years ago. Leather's completely worn off the ear pieces but the sound is still clear, and the headset still fits.]We just wanted an alternative to the in-ear headphones and mic that came with the PS4 which incidentally work perfectly fine, it's just they hurt our ears (never liked that format) and we wanted a pair we could potentially share. Sharing in-ear ones just seemed... a bit yukky! If they last as long as my walkman headphones with the mic also still intact, and if the mic doesn't turn out to be lets-bombard-friends-with-background-noise super-sensitive, then I'd be giving this headset a full 5 stars. It is DEFINITELY good enough for us as a cheaper alternative to the official PS4 headsets and we're very grateful to Sony for allowing compatibility... unlike some *other* consoles I could name [Xbox360] who made certain that unless you buy a console-specific headset, you ain't using one.

Extremely happy with my headphones
Extremely happy with my headphones. It looks very stylish - it might not feel very sturdy but I just bought a headphone case for £5 to keep it safe. It arrived within 4-5 days and was well packaged. The sound quality is perfectly fine for the price. It might not pack a punch but it is clear and well balanced. Plus you can always go into your music equaliser on your phone/iPod etc, and change it accordingly to your preference. If you're a bit of an audiophile or want something that really hits the bass and high notes, you would want to look towards Bose or Beats (or sennheiser hd201 for a cheaper alternative). However if you're happy with a satisfactory clear sound on a budget then this is great! I got these for about £15 including p&p which is a bargain since they include the microphone for handsfree talking. The sound doesn't bleed that much so it should be fine for a commute. They're on-ear meaning that they sit on your ears. This can be uncomfortable for people with large ears (if you do have large ears you might prefer over-ear headphones, also known as around-ear). But I have fairly small ears so they just rest on the top of my ears. The leather cuffs feel quite comfortable and don't get sweaty (of course I haven't exercised with them on yet so they might get sweaty with some physical exertion). The wire is normal, it would've been better if the wire was braided because it would reduce the risk of damaging the wires, however they are still good for the price. It has a standard L-shaped jack, so it will fit into almost all devices. These headphones would be a good choice for people who just want simple headphones, or for children who need some entertaining.Hope this helps!
