Vinyl Coated Metal Wire Keychain for Keys,Outdoor Hiking and Luggage Tags by Carryluxe(5 Pack)

I've owned these for two and a half years. I'm writing this review as the first one I used finally needed to be replaced on my car keys. One of the braided wires broke and pricked me in the finger. I'd say that is much longer life expectancy than a standard keyring. I'm not sure how long ago the plastic coating wore off, but I never even noticed. These are really great, as you can keep adding or taking off keys, or you can crimp the female end effectively making it impossible to unscrew.

These keychains are SUPER sturdy and well-made. I debated between purchasing ones that were/were not vinyl coated and couldn't be happier with my decision to go with vinyl coasted ones. I use these regularly, particularly when i travel internationally (which happens every few weeks). They have held up in holding up luggage tags to holding together straps that were nearing their breaking point. The ends fit together with a screw type mechanism and holds together regardless of any pressure I've been able to apply to pull them apart. It's a solid quality product at a great bargain price.

I used this product for my job which requires to have a lot of keys in a specific order on a keychain. It was not good for this purpose. It may work for a few keys but definitely not 20+ keys. The cord frayed quickly and the ends that connect together broke causing me to have to reorganize the keys on another keychain, which was a pain. It's a good product and would reccomend, just not for a large quantity of keys

I use this as a keychain. What can I say? It works well. You can put just about anything with a hole on this thing. I like that it's vinyl coated so it's not as rough and won't fray as easily (I hope..that's what happened to my last keychain, which wasn't vinyl coated).You could use this for many other things, such as luggage tag holder, connector, etc.But for me, it's a keychain. It's cheap and handy. What more can you ask for?

The idea behind these is great but they come part very easy! I used these to hold two of my 6" long controllers that I use to train my Min Pins and they are constantly falling off and hitting the floor. Do not recommend unless you're using them something EXTREMELY light like keys.

The screw-on connector and plastic-coated metal wire are very sturdy. The problem is that the connector is attached to the wire by just a crimped metal housing. This means they're basically just pinched on, and therefore can come off easily with a little force. Its a shame, because if the connector was securely fused to the wire these could be much more sturdy.

Work as expected. I bought these in anticipation of needing them to replace the wire chains that came with the luggage tags I ordered. Sure enough, one of them was broken when it arrived. But they also came in handy when I separated the keys for the rental car and needed something to attach the tag identifying the car.

I'm using this for many purposes in my shop. It is flexible enough to handle and coated with soft transparent material. I'm really happy with this. This is what I wanted.
