Arrived on time and in great condition

This is my favorite series currently (apart from heavens official) and was so happy when it arrived from Amazon. Came fast and was beautiful

The artwork in this volume is quite a bit more detailed & colourful than the last one (volume 2) so I enjoyed it more. I particularly liked the bold colours used in the mausoleum scenes.Some scenes I really liked from the novel weren't included, which is a shame (hence 4 stars), but on the whole this is quite a faithful adaptation: in the scenes that made it into the comic, even the facial expressions match the descriptions in the book, which is quite impressive!The English translation reads smoothly without being clunky.The other reason I'm not giving 5 stars is I thought some of the side characters (the juniors) looked really similar so for a long time I couldn't figure out who's who. Eventually I learnt to tell them apart by hairstyle but I still wish they had more distinguishing features to make things easier for the reader.

I’ve brought many Danmeis including the novels and the English and Chinese comic versions. Some of my novels and comics have come damaged like this but for some reason it’s always one of two that get damaged since I buy them with some other novels or comics. Honestly this is just so your aware that they may have slight damaged to the cover or the actual pages with printing errors(which have occurred in the past). Sometimes the damages are more severe. This is one of the less severe ones.
