Q & A a Day for Kids: A Three-Year Journal

Nine year old LOVED it
This book looks very nice and worth the price. The question prompts are very varied, from thought-provoking to funny, and the nine years old girl for whom it was purchased was really excited to start filling it in and spent a good while going over the pages and discussing what her answers would be.

Lovely little book for creating memories
I'm a mum to twins so my first worry was there wouldn't be enough room for both girls and I but having received the book I can see it's absolutely perfect. I love the questions in the book, my girls are at the in-between age, they don't need bedtime stories at night anymore but this is a new way to ask how their days have been and connect before bed ❤️ brilliant product hands down

Good gift - unusual, fun and educational
I have given a few of these to various friends children and they are well received as gifts. Children make a record of their year - when smaller can do so with adult help - and it prompts discussion with parents about some interesting topics.

Fun project to learn things about your kids that you'd never really be prompted to ask
Each night before the children go to bed, we ask them a question from this book and record their answers. Questions range from "when were you last brave?" to "what does your Mummy do?" As the kids are respectively, 2 1/2 and nearly 5, the answers vary wildly, but oftentimes hilarious to touching to downright bizarre. It's been an enjoyable nightly activity to just get to hear the kids' thoughts and get better insight into their thinking process. We have learned that our son and his toy puppy have an alternate family, as well as found out that our daughter thinks Daddy helps people "not order cows when they want coffee." (Daddy is an English teacher)I definitely recommend this book as a keepsake journal of your children's ideas and thoughts recorded over a 3 year period. It seems best with an older child though as some of the questions just aren't relevant to under fives.

What a fantastic book!
This book is brilliant! It can take less than a minute to do each day (if you're writing it on their behalf) so it's very doable (or you can make it a bigger conversation if you like) but the idea is each day there is a question at the top that you ask your child and you leave it up to them to interpret how they answer it. You write down the answer they give or older children could do it independently. On each page there is space for 3 entries so you keep going for 3 years and you can then see how their answer to each question evolves over the years, which is lovely. I found the main benefit though is that, when everything is rushed if you're struggling to get quality time with your child this creates a little space in the day where they have your full attention, you're not teaching them, training them, directing them, you're just interested to hear their thoughts on something, and there is no right or wrong answer. You could also use the diary for just one year and use the space to record multiple children's answers if you have more than one. And obviously, if you miss a day, you can do more than one on another day but it's quite nice having that time set aside every day at bedtime or whatever.

Great journalling for children
Lovely idea, I bought it for my grandchildren 3 years ago when they were 5 and 8 yrs old, and they both wanted another one. Thought provoking questions and opens up conversation with little ones. It encourages them to talk about their feelings which hopefully they will continue to do. It is also lovely for them to look back on.

1 question a day
I bought this as a gift for my grandson who will soon be 6.It's so much better than a diary, which always sound so good but are very hard to keep up regardless of all the good intentions we start off with. Each page has 1 question and three different sections to write in for this year, next year, and the year after. The questions vary, some are simple eg, what made you smile today, to being a more thoughtful. Eg, did you struggle saying something that was important.Hopefully because it is just 1 question it should be easy to keep up with and it will be nice to see how my grandsons thoughts change as he ages

THE ANTIDOTE TO USELESS PRESENTS
This makes the perfect gift for children 9 upwards, as they and you can monitor their progress and see how they've changed over the years. Looks really expensive, too. Highly recommended for everyone who is wondering what on earth to get for Birthdays or Christmas for children that appear to have everything. It's something different to the usual gifts that are forgotten after a week as this delightful diary should be used daily for THREE YEARS!.

Great way to end the day
I have one of these for myself and love it, so I got one for the kids. They've enjoyed answering the questions in their own unique ways. It'll be fun to look back and see how their answers have changed and how they've grown by the end.

Great idea
The prompts for each day help children to have something short to write about. It would be amazing to look back a few years later to see how they grew up.

BuenisimoUna forma de conocer a tus hijos, hacerlos reflexionar y empezar conversaciónYo uso cada espacio para cada uno de mis 3 hijos, en lugar de hacerlo para un hijo y 3 años
