Been using Quip for years now, and every time my son goes to the dentist, he calls me to tell me how great this toothbrush is.It isn't that the brush is any better than any other. It's that the vibration, which is NOT what cleans your teeth--YOU do that. It just reminds you that you have 4 quadrants to clean. It propels you to concentrate on what you're doing as you're doing it. And if you're consistent, every dental appointment will be mostly a breeze.Recently upgraded to the charging model and very happy with it's performance.Plus the convenience of reminding you to change the brush head at the appropriate time is worth the subscription.I've purchased brushes and subscriptions for my family. Being able to purchase replacements when necessary from Amazon is a plus. The fulfillment from Quip has been confusing and abysmal.

I am dissatisfied with this product. For one, I removed the adhesive strip to attach it to a compatible surface and the toothbrush immediately falls off the wall. The most infuriating thing is that it is supposed to be rechargeable and I had it on the charger for several days before using it. I have to lay it on its side while charging as well because it won’t stay upright to charge. It will turn on when I go to brush my teeth but will not continue to vibrate once I put it in my mouth to do what it is actually intended to do (brush my teeth). I left it out of my mouth to see if the 2 minute timer would actually run its course and it did with the vibration every 30 seconds. However, the product can’t actually brush my teeth. If I wanted a toothbrush that didn’t vibrate, I wouldn’t have spent $40 on one. I would’ve picked one up for $3 at the drug store. Do better Quip.

I have been using quip toothbrushes for 6 plus years. Love the color of this one, holds a very very long charge, is comfortable to hold, and I love the portability of this toothbrush

The toothbrush itself is great. It pauses every 30 seconds so you know to switch sides and up or down. The app is terrible. If you’re getting this cus it connects to your phone, look somewhere else. I was really disappointed with it. Don’t get offbeat heads for the toothbrush - they fall off so it’s hard to brush at all with them.

This rechargeable and Bluetooth electric toothbrush is so helpful. I use it every day and I rarely have to charge it. It come in black or pink. I got black because I don’t care for the color pink. It’s very light, and isn’t too big to put in a suitcase when traveling. It also comes with a cover to protect the bristles when you do take it somewhere. It is a all-black metal toothbrush that has a magnetic charger on the bottom. It clicks into place, so no need to put in on a certain way, as long as the magnet is facing towards the magnetic charger on the bottom of the brush. The timer goes for 4 30-second intervals, and when it’s done, it will vibrate so you can take it out of your mouth and rinse it.

Do not recommend… I’ve been loyal to Quip for many years now and I love the idea of the smart (phone app) toothbrushes. So when they released this “3-month” rechargeable toothbrush I couldn’t wait to try it- less hassle than changing batteries. But this is my second version of the rechargeable (started using this one in Feb 2025- and it quit working beginning of Sept- that’s not even a year.) and I have not liked either… they don’t last- neither the length between charging nor the life of the toothbrush.I have to charge it every week or so even though my app says it’s over half charged… It’s not in reality. And it’s supposed to last THREE MONTHS! I actually contacted Quip about this and the fact that the charging light goes out after a few minutes (on three cords I’ve accumulated- including one from customer service) the customer service said I couldn’t go by the charging light or the percentage the app tells me. So why have it then?? Just yesterday, my app said it was 52% charged but it died and I’ve had it plugged in ALL DAY… it still won’t work.It’s very disappointing and frustrating! I’m going to try their new next-generation smart brush, but I’m sad to say I don’t feel confident at all.This is the last chance I’m giving Quip and I wish I didn’t have to say that because I’ve loved the company overall for years. Their gum, their app and points system (though I will admit the rewards are greatly lacking these days...), the stylish designs of everything I’ve bought over the years, and the ease of refills/subscriptions. But unfortunately, I’m wasting money and I’ll have to go elsewhere if this continues. So if you want to save money, I DO NOT recommend buying this product because you might need to get another toothbrush before a year runs out. I wish I could say otherwise.

I have been using Quip since it first hit the market. And it will forever be my go to toothbrush. I love the changes made from battery operated to USB. Made a huge difference in longevity and product quality.

This toothbrush is best used as a manual toothbrush. While brushing the brush head can easily come off due to mechanism for removal being imoractically designed, you push the brush head backwards to remove it from the base. There were more than a few times when the brush head would disconnect while brushing. Water would often get underneath as a result, eventually leading to completely ruining the whole vibration, mechanism and recharging. The recharging connection has to be precisely placed otherwise, although it will magnetize won’t charge without some fiddling so you have to check the light if you have water issues and other issues of course this won’t charge. Save yourself some money and get a manual toothbrush. In the other hand I like the quip water flosser.
