As the synopsis says, the slime isn't exactly the most badass monster, so despite this being yet another reincarnated in another world manga...I was curious by this potentially interesting twist. I was hoping it would make this stand out from the sea of similar novels, and I really do think it does. There are so many similar books recently, someone gets reincarnated in another world, they end up being a hero or a badass or something...but our main character is a slime and that's both hilarious and kind of awesome because it's so different.There's a brilliant scene near to the beginning when he's just reincarnated, and his senses are unfolding and it was so fantastically well done! Incredibly well translated from the novel to the manga and from that point I was thinking...okay...this is going to be good.TTIGRAAS is genuinely hilarious right from the start, I'm not going to lie. It cracked me up and made this read so much fun. Our main character, Rimuru's, narrative voice, was freaking hilarious. He was so relatable. He kept relating things to our world and things that you as a reader understand it was so brilliant. His observations and references where just so on point and he called things perfectly more than once. He was so calculating too! I'm actually excited to see him develop as a character and become the most badass slime to ever slime!Aside from Rimuru there's a lot of other brilliant characters, Veldora is my other favourite. I'm kinda sad we didn't get to see more of him he was equally as hilarious and I actually felt kinda bad for him, poor lonely dragon! There's a brilliant section at the end, "Veldora's Slime Observation Journal", that's equally as hilarious as the manga itself. It also totally has a Heroic Legend of Arslan reference, and you guys KNOW how much I love Arslan, I definitely squealed and got overly excited because not only is Veldora casually reading manga but he's reading ARSLAN SENKI. He has good taste.The art is brilliant, the story has a nice pace, there's originality to it and there's lots of intriguing plot threads combing to make an enjoyable and fun plot. The story builds up as you read bringing more and more in, learning more and more about the world and I quickly became engrossed in it and found myself really enjoying myself! I'm so intrigued to see where this is going to go, as the art pages at the beginning provided us a glimpse and I can't wait to see how we get there!

Going to just copy paste the same thing across all the slime graphic novels.. etcGreat and fun story and you have to love Rimuru. Overtime his character has even topped my love of Tanya and other Isekai style stuff. Great character dev over the whole series and challenge overcome and move on to the next.Tanya the Evil and this are in a tie for my top Isekai stuff, then Overlord and Konosuba and then RE:zero.

El manga es divertido de leer, de como se sale del molde en este tipo de historias donde el protagonistaes el héroe al renacer; aquí renace como un simple slime que tiene que aprender a usar sus habilidades.El arte es bueno, es bonito y estético. El tamaño del manga es grande y se pueden apreciar más losdibujos y el plus la pequeña novela que viene con el manga.

Awesome manga, awesome concept, moves a bit fast story wise.. didn't expect village building-so that was a pleasant surprise!The illustrations are well done. Characters are likeable. The mood tends to swing from dark to light a lot! The main character has the abilityas a slime to transform into whatever it eats.. for now. And he gains the ability to turn into something interesting and then laments the lack offunctional organs. It was dark yet funny.The only thing that sucks about this manga, is its English/united states release schedule.. the English version is probably4 volumes or 5 volumes behind what's been released in Japan if not more.So I really wish the translation to English, OFFICIAL Translation, were much faster. I wanted to buy ALL the volumes that had been released to date, but unfortunately they won't be out for months. Which is ridiculously horrible. Thankfully fans have picked up the slack of the licensee for the US release.I'll buy the future releases, when they finally do come out in English. Probably be an old man by the time the full digital English set comes out in the US with the way the release schedule is looking.P.S. IF your looking for another manga worth reading in this same genre.. check outKumo desu ga, nani ka? Its this manga about a girl in a Japanese classroom that is reborn into another world as a spider, or a normal spider in a Japanese classroom born into another world as a-bigger spider.. . or something. I don't know exactly. But really interesting stuff!

Versand ging sehr schnell. Wir sind beide 24 und sind schon große Manga und Anime Fans. Uns wurde der Anime empfohlen, wir wollten jedoch davor die Mangas lesen und müssen sagen... Wow wow wow. Es ist so spannend gemacht, sehr leicht zu lesen (wir lesen es in Englisch zum üben). Es hat Humor und packt einen einfach.Es ist toll gezeichnet und geschrieben. Wir haben den ersten Band innerhalb von wenigen Tagen bzw gezählten Stunden durchgelesen und freuen uns jedes mal aufs neue auf einen neuen Teil.Achtung ab hier Spoiler:Es geht um einen 30jährigen Mann, welcher bei einem Straßenüberfall getötet wird und als glibber, blinder und gehörloser Schleim wiedergeboren wird. Die neue Welt in der er lebt ist voller Fanatasiewesen. Drachen, Spinnen, Trolle, Menschen, Elfen, Zwerge, etc. Auf seiner Reise stetig dabei ist so etwas wie seine innere Stimme, welche er immer um Rat fragt.Der Schleim kann Fähigkeiten aufnehmen und die Gestalt von Wesen, welche er getötet hat. Dadurch wird er schnell stärker und Anführer einer kleinen Trollgruppe.Die Reisen gehen dann immer weiter.Wir haben noch nicht weiter gelesen, sidn aber gespannt wohin die Reise noch führt.
