Not special enough.
I really wanted to rate this higher. I really did! It’s a plum jam. Delicious, obviously, but at £8 for a half pound jar? It wasn’t a match for a Tiptree jam. Plum and Damson are my favourites, so it was a little disappointing that this didn’t have a full flavour of plum. It was a sweet, sticky, slightly plummy addition to toast. Nice pale colour though, so when I first spread it I was intrigued. Alas, the flavour was as pale as the colour.
