Palomino Blackwing Long Point Sharpener

Obviously an expensive option for sharpening your weapon of choice, but be in no doubt over the quality of your purchase. These are excellent sharpeners which consistently provide a long sharp point to your pencil by first shaping the pencil then the lead through two different sharpening points.If you are a stationary buff then these are for you.

It is pricey but you get perfectly sharp pencils with as little mess as possible.

At first I thought I was sharpening it wrong, however having consulted my dear friend A.C (my stationary Guru), it turned out it was in actual fact a defective device.Not to be deterred from the perfect point I replaced the blade with one of the two supplied and Hey Presto I now have pencils which are the longest and pointiest of all my colleagues. In fact I often get comments on the quality of my point since purchasing this sharpening equipment.Finally I would like to give thanks to A.C who supplied me with my very first Palomino Pencil, without you, none of this would have been possible!

I liked the look of this sharpener and as I had just purchased some Blackwing pencils decided to complete the set with this. The design is attractive and it sharpens beautifully, however on closer inspection the blades are KUM so I tried my KUM automatic long point( top in photo is KUM sharpened, bottom is BLackwing sharpened). The only real difference between the two is the price. So you pays your money and makes your choice. I know a donation is made to arts charities but this sharpener is at least 3 times the price and I’d find it hard to justify purchasing again.

I was recommended this product by a DC/Marvel artist friend of mine. I laughed when he said it'll change the way I work. However now I'm laughing at the fact he was right. 2 sharpener.ports. First for the wood then to sharpen the lead. It is excellent and a really nice feeling to get a pin fine point everytime. I'd advise anyone to get it. Especially if you use blackwing pearls. They're expensive pencils and an extra bit of care I a good thing to have in this sharpener.

The best the sharpest pencil sharpener I've ever had. Bought a second to replace the mechanical sharpener in the studio that looks cool but doesn't sharpen pencils as well as the Blackwing 2-stage sharpener.

When first using this pencil sharpener it was amazing and I couldn't fault it, however, since enrolling on a Art course I have frequently been using this product alongside their Blackwing 602 pencils. As well as the sharpener breaking it has also damaged up my blackwings and other pencils. Considering the price of the sharpener and the brand name I am extremely disappointed and quite honestly annoyed in the deterioration of this product. I tried looking for a contact address or number I can't find anything, very poor standard of product quality and customer service. I am extremely angry.

Expensive - but worth the treat.Such a shame they don't come in packs of 6 as they would be more affordable !

I was shocked that everywhere I went to buy a Blackwing (at a Brick and Mortar) didn't sell sharpeners so I was excited to find the actual Blackwing sharpener online. This arrived faster than quoted and works great! Highly recommend!

Fa un'ottima punta, lunga come le matite appena comprate, ha due fori: uno per temperare il legno, l'altra per temperare le mina, così la si può utilizzare di più.

irgendwie erschließt sich mir nicht ganz der sinn. der stift wird in zwei schritten angespitzt. Stufe 1 nur das Holz wegschnitzen. Stufe 2 die Bleimine beispitzen.mein fazit: für den preis besser gleich zur CARL Spitzmaschine CC-2000 greifen

Es un fabuloso sacapuntas y afila muy bien en las dos opciones. Yo estoy acostumbrado al sacar punta en uno eléctrico que deja la punta larga ideal para escribir y dibujar. Faber Castell tiene algunos parecidos que le hacen cierta competencia a Palomino.Tiene buenos detalles como las dos hojas para cambiar cuando el filo se pierda. Eso es un plus. Otro es que es de Palomino. Tal vez los mejores lápices del mundo
