Extra try and clear lid for all MEDREADY Dispensers

This is such a time saver! Now, when it's time to replace her pill carousel, I just take this extra one with me, instead of, having to carry all of her medications there and organize the carousel at her house. She has dementia and is very child like (she stays under my feet when I go see her, so it makes it hard for me to organize her pills and make sure they are correct as she is very distracting). I love this!

It is exactly what I ordered and it fits in to the Med Ready dispenser perfectly, BUT the lid is flimsy and does not fit securely. I fix my mother's meds and transport them to her house. I have to put the tray in a gallon bag or the meds move from one compartment to another or the lid comes off and the pills spill out.

I have to fill the tray weekly with meds and take to my sisters home. Once I had a spill. Reduces stress to know the tray has a cover.

This is a little on the spendy side for a simple piece of molded plastic, but it's indispensable for refilling my parents' MedReady dispensers in the comfort of my own home. That way I can just bring the filled tray over to their home and swap out the empty tray without having to haul over a dozen pill bottles to fill their tray.

Nothing special about the tray....it’s the same tray that comes with medready. HOWEVER, it’s really nice to take one tray out and put a new tray in already filled with meds. We help and elderly lady with her meds. My wife fills the tray with meds....and we just swap trays once a week. Much easier! Get the second tray!

I bought this 3 1/2 years ago for my Mom - she had difficulty remembering to take her meds & vitamins or if she had taken them. Using the weekly 4 times a day containers was not working. This enabled her to be independent enough to stay by herself for another couple of years. The reminder would buzz until she opened it. I'd recommend this, there are other devices that have electronic notification to the caretaker if a dose is missed but there are monthly fees associated with those. This would be great for a person that takes critical medications but nothing my mother took was critical that 1 missed dose would cause any harm.

My mother really likes it because she is now confident that she's taken her medication and not over-taken it. She's even shown it to several healthcare workers who have been at her home. We were using the week-long cases but she sometimes became confused over what day of the week it was. It was a little touchy getting it set up for the first time but now seems to be working okay. Probably overpriced, but then this is what we needed to make certain she is okay with her meds. I bought the extra tray and we load it for her because of her memory issues.

My 86 year old mother has macular degeneration and was having problems taking the correct medications at the right time. This machine has been a god send! I bought an extra tray so I can fill it for her and bring her medication tray to her once a week. I just swap out the trays and the alarm goes off 3 times a day for her to take out the correct medications at the right time!
