Basic little water timer that has some nice built in features.
Diivoo Sprinklers with the 2 Timed Outlets and also now a 3 Timed version as well.Well unlike several others Vine Voices here I did not receive a free unit to either test or advise upon. My unit was purchased purely out of a sense of necessity. I previously had, maybe over six or seven years, a Gardena auto sprinkler unit with a single outlet. That worked very, very well with an occasional change of the 9v battery. Left out in all winds and weathers even over the Winter with the water shut off of course. Anyway it finally decided enough was enough and packed up. Hence this new Diivoo unit which I had never ever heard of previously. At that time it was the Amazon choice for a water timer. It duly arrived, without 2 AA batteries I might add, and I set it up. It was extremely easy to set up and as the title suggests comes with 2 timed water outlets. They call them zones. You have to set the time of day, how long you wish the water flow out and so on. Very simplistic to install and now that it has been working for some time I am in a position to say that its very reliable. Comes with all 2 connectors that you require to connect your outlet hoses onto etc., and so far with no leakages. It has worked very well on a daily basis. I use it for auto watering some of our external flower pots and ground plants. The added second outlet or zone being a bonus. If you buy the right hoses etc., then you can effect daily and auto watering without it being to obvious. We have one zone watering on a daily basis and the second zone watering every other day. Very handy. Did I mention that you are able to by-pass any of the zones from an auto setting into a manual mode....! You can also cancel the auto timed mode(s) altogether if its raining or if the weather forecasts rain in the coming days. Not that I bother. I simply switch it to the ‘off’ setting. Same difference and a lot quicker. Yes well pleased with this Diivoo unit that has 2 timed outlets. One thing to mention is that on each of the two zones you can have 2 on/off for say 1 hour or 2 hours up to 12 hours. You can have it operating every hour if you wish. Likewise the day setting is every day, every other day or once a week amd so on. It gives a multitude of settings to chose from. Being lazy these days I have now also purchased the x3 outlet timer unit now as well. (still no batteries. 4 required here) This unit now controls a water sprinkler, pots and a flower bed in the rear garden. Does everything that I have previously described but now x3!. Does it all mostly early morning. I love automatic. Anyway look these units are all pretty basic stuff operating internal battery solenoids to allow water flow but works very well. I just hope that they give longevity for the initial cash outlay. Watering the plants with containers or watering can used to be a pain, but now we sit back and relax. Quite therapeutic to watch the water suddenly click in and come on whilst having a cup of tea and a cake, or even maybe something stronger if the mood takes you. All IMHO of course.

Easy to use.
Fixed this up in greenhouse so could just set timer to water plants. Works fine, easy to use. Needed another user manual, contacted manufacturer and got one e-mailed very quick. Good product and service.

Great, easy to use timer with 1 specific problem.
I now have 2 if these units running my plant and garden irrigation.Installation was very easy and all the bits you may need come in the box.Set-up was just as straightforward and easy to understand (as I have the dial version). I'm sure in 12 months when I put them out again I wont need instructions. So why no 5 stars?Like many timers the water pressure is reduced going through the unit and this one seems to reduce it more than others I've used. Even with the filter removed the pressure is lowered enough to prevent my sprinklers working. Remove it from the loop and sprinklers run perfect. Its a shame as its a great little gadget and if water pressure isn't an issue for you its a great buy.

It does what its supposed to do
Solid bit of kit and fairly simple to set up. Just connect it to the outside tap and connect your hosepipes to your sprinklers. Once you understand how to set the controls it just works. It can be a bit noisy via vibrations through the water pipe if you turn up the water pressure too much.Comes with hose connectors which I have not used so can’t comment on them but they look substantial and fit standard Hozelok fittings.I have it programmed to run every 12 hours with the individual outlets running for 4 minutes timed 5 minutes apart. Not a good idea to have both running at the same time as that reduces the water pressure to each. It’ll keep the veg plot alive while on holiday. If it does I’ll be very pleased with it.

Excellent results
easy to set up and connect up. Has worked fine this summer and looks feels well made. How long it lasts time will tell but as it cost a fair bit hopefully quite a few seasons. One thing I have found with several makes is they do NOT stand up to our UK winters, so disconnect and take indoors AND remove batteries for the winter.

Disappointing Water Timer - Not Waterproof and Unreliable
I recently purchased the Water Timer for my garden plants, hoping to streamline my garden plants watering process. Unfortunately, my experience with this product has been far from satisfactory, and I feel compelled to share my negative feedback.Firstly, the product description explicitly claimed that the Water Timer was waterproof, making it suitable for outdoor use. However, after the first rainstorm, I discovered that this was not the case. Water managed to seep inside the device, rendering it dysfunctional and causing it to break down. This flaw is not only a major inconvenience but also a blatant misrepresentation of the product's capabilities. The functionality of the Water Timer was also a letdown. It did not operate as described in the product manual, and the programming interface was confusing and counterintuitive. The timer would sporadically stop working, interrupting my carefully planned watering schedule and causing frustration. The build quality of the Water Timer is questionable at best. The plastic casing feels cheap and flimsy, and it is evident that the device is not designed to withstand the elements. Given that it failed to repel rainwater as promised, it raises concerns about the overall durability of the product. In conclusion, the Water Timer for Irrigation was a regrettable purchase. Its failure to function properly, coupled with its lack of waterproofing, makes it an unreliable and impractical choice for anyone seeking a durable outdoor irrigation solution. I strongly advise potential buyers to consider alternative products with proven waterproofing and functionality to avoid the frustration and inconvenience I experienced with this Water Timer.
