after having shoulder surgery end of last year I now have painful Tendonitis of the elbow. was given some creams to use, but every movement was painful so giving this a go, very happy with this item I wear it over a long sleeve top but have no problems with waring it, good support stays in place all day & don't get hot. value for money. Just hand wash in hot soapy water & air dry. I did get the XL its a good fit even though the sizing was for the L . Also helpful for using PC I do crafts but before using this support I could only use the PC a very short time then would be in tearful pain.

I am impressed with both the quality and comfort of this product. After a little elbow trouble (from lifting) I have worn this regularly and continuously during an 8 hour shift. I expected that to be an issue, that it would prove uncomfortable, feel too tight (after a while) and begin to itch and drive me crazy. Those fears were unfounded. It is very comfortable. It does not slip or move and it provides just the right amount of support (for me) without inducing any irritation or discomfort. It seems durable and well made. Overall I am very pleased with the purchase. Good value and certainly recommended. Prior to using this I was using cut lengths of tube elasticated bandage - which is fine for going over wound dressings and applying high pressure - but not comfortable over long periods. I am glad I chose the Neo G support.

I would rate this product as an improvement over a Tubigrip bandage. The support is more targeted than a regular bandage and you can feel the difference. More comfortable too. Worth the extra money.I have knocked off 1 star as the packaging says that it is ideal for Tennis/Golfers Elbow. I would disagree as there is no real tendon support. It doesn't really help that much. Unless your pain is very mild. If you have moderate to severe tennis elbow you would be better off with a proper counter force brace. Or a weakness, due to arthritis or something, then I think this would be good for you.It offers a mild level of support. It is comfortable and not too restricting. It keeps your arms and elbows warm too. It is stylish.Being stylish might not seem that important, but it is more discreet and less obvious if you are in the gym or wearing it in public. Certainly better looking than a bandage or tape. Makes you feel less self conscious. I consider this a plus point.I bought 2. I wear them during yoga.As for a size guide. I got medium ones and they offer a snug fit but not too tight. I would say that I am a similar size to the guy in the picture (but less toned unfortunately...). If you are significantly larger than this, you may need to buy a large one. If you have smaller arms than the man in the picture or if its for a child, the small size would be better.Hope that helps.

I've been using these for a while now as I've had quite a serious bout of tennis elbow and I find them incredibly comfortable to wear for a long period of time. They are well made but will bobble a little a bit after significant use. Positively, I've been wearing them pretty much all day for the past few months and they still retain their tightness.

Seemed shorter than shown when it arrived but when you put it on it magically ends up as shown in the photo. Very comfortable, I really don't like wearing things like this but so far this is ok. Gives just enough support when doing work that may place a strain on the elbow, not crushingly tight so can be worn for quite a while.Edited to add that it does help support the elbow for tennis elbow problems, having seen a comment that it does not, but I know this is a matter of debate. A single strap may be better when playing sport when extra support is needed but this is fine for general support of this condition. My Physio recommended this for my tennis elbow as I do general work, diy and gardening where I can damage the elbow if not careful. This provides enough support to 'take the edge off' and really helps, it can also be worn for hours with no discomfort. The physio said not to use the tight strap type for working in as not correct in this case. So just bear this in mind depending on what you want if for, if general daily use this is perfect, you may need more specific support for sports use.I am just about to buy 2 more while I can as my current one is taking some punishment landscaping the garden, getting very dirty and I want to be sure to have spares for the future (not getting any younger) and needed for all such work.

Having suffered a torn tendon at work, I needed a support for my elbow/forearm. Looking at the box and having read the reviews - this looked like the ideal support. I opted for the free delivery, (this was only 1 day later delivery), rather than the ripoff postage of £4.99! The item comes in a small box and is VERY lightweight, so why £4.99?The item arrived a day earlier than specified, so much the better and a good job I DIDN'T spend £4.99 on delivery. Removing the support from the box, I immediately noticed that it was significantly SMALLER than pictured on the box, (SEE PHOTO). Sure it covers the elbow, and I'm sure that is fine for some people, but it doesn't excuse the disparity between the photo on the box and the actual item!I had to order the XL size as I measured right on the upper limit of the sizes suggested. I did try the item on, it fit but didn't offer any support at all. It wasn't that tight, (and bear in mind this was the XL size and I was right on the upper size limit for this). I will say that the quality of the material seems good.I immediately set about to send it back, but RETURNS ARE NOT ALLOWED!! So now I'm £9.99 down and stuck with an item that isn't fit for purpose. Do yourself a favour and buy one from Home bargains for £1.69.
