Q: Will it work in France

Unless the French are now insisting on 24 hour clocks only it should be ok, just takes 1 AA battery.

Q: Is this clock water resistant as i want to put it outside

I have two which are outside on walls open to the elements and we live at the top of a hill (700 feet) in a very exposed position. I have had them several years and they work beautifully without any rain or wind problems. Not having to reset them for summer/winter time every 6 months is very useful. They are very clear and can be read from a distance (my neighbours apparently use them).

Q: is it battery or electric powered?

This is battery powered. One AA. My battery lasts approximately one year.

Q: will the clock work in France?

The clock will not work in France unfortunately. It only connects to GMT
