Having traveled with both this kennel and our all-metal folding kennel, this is far superior for travel purposes. It is easier to handle and lighter, and for the same 'footprint' it is a little shorter than our conventional kennel, which makes it easier to fit in both your car trunk and in whatever lodgings your travels brings you to.The kennel seems to be very well made, and I like the tension rod mechanism they use - you simply line up two rods, and then turn the ends of those rods to tighten the frame of the kennel and take up any slack in the fabric. It is an elegant design that works well and the kennel feels tight and solid when assembled.Folding the kennel up is OK, but there is only one handle so you can't really carry it 'straight up and down' - it is always dangling at an angle from that handle. Having a matching handle on the other side of the folded assembly would make carrying a little better, and make it intuitive as to which two sides fold together. If it could be engineered to allow a little extra 'room' at the bottom so you could leave a pad in there, that would be excellent as well. I was able to get it folded up with our 'travel bed' still in the base, but it felt a little tight, and I wonder if doing that long-term might lead to some damage or stretching.While this is ideal for travel, I don't think I'd recommend it as your only kennel. While the fabric seems to be high quality, I cannot imagine how fabric would hold up as well as painted steel wire. It's also a lot easier to sanitize a metal kennel. Another 'great for travel but maybe not for everyday' feature is that it is also not quite as big as the same "size" metal kennel (lower ceiling) - it makes life easier on the move, but when we're at home I like the fact that our other kennel has a bit more headroom.I would absolutely buy this again, and recommend it to friends.

So far so good! My dog slipped a disk and has to be on crate rest for 4-6 weeks. This crate allows me to open the top and hang with her. Also I can give her food and water much more easily than with her metal crate.

We bought this for our corgi for camp (to keep her secure). It's like she has her own little glorious hotel room!! This is made well...and to last. We bought the little cushion. She LOVES being in her own space. She goes in at night to sleep without any issues!! She doesn't try to chew her way out - there are plenty of areas she can see out around her.

For cost, esthetics and simplicity this crate is the best! I've owned numerous bulky wire crates and this crate checks every box I was looking for.

It’s my fault for buying a mesh crate for my nine pound eight year old chi. I bought the crate to prevent her from urinating in the house. It only took her two weeks to tear a two inch long hole at the front side of the crate.I will go back to using a metal crate.

Product is great for dogs. Very easy to fold and assemble and close. Material is great. I have a 15 lb 7 month shitzu poodle, and got one of the bigger crates. The only con I have is due to the fact that my puppy was able to chew through the mesh somehow to escape. I don't recommend if your dog is an escape artist or a chewer because biting through the mesh is fairly easy (or at least for my puppy). I do recommend this crate though for the non-chewers. It's great, easy to clean inside if puppy has any accidents. Good colors to also choose from and very sturdy. I don't think it's meant for traveling though. Simply just for crating your pet indoors.

Great value, it's really sturdy and I got it big enough for my Corgi to move around in. I actually got 2 because I've always got and extra dog around visiting and sometimes it's good to have their dogs sleep in them. Easy to put up and take down, I love the quality.

Happy with this purchase. It held up until my puppy outgrew it. He put a couple of chew marks in it, but nothing too major. With that said, he was never really alone for a long time and was always content in it.

Funny thing is my wife bought another saying it was a fluke… then he ate that to.He does go into it on his own though for naps, so he does like it!

Mon chien n'a pas été habitué à la crème et adore celle-ci. Elle se monte facilement, est solide et se deplace tres bien.Il y a 2 entrée, ce qui est vraiment pratique si on veut la déplacer et changerr l'entrée de côté.Mon Rottweiler a 2 ans, pèse 80lbs et je le laisse dans la cage plusieurs heures avec la trappe du haut ouverte et il y reste sans problème.

This is the perfect size for my golden-lab cross, and she loves going in there. The see-through sides allow her to see me even when it is all closed, which helps keep her calm. Very happy with this.
