I bought it in the UK, and it worked perfectly straight out of the box, and the mains voltage in the UK is I think 220 - 240 volts. I guess that the manufacturer adjusts the shredder to match the voltage of the country it is sold in, but I'm not certain.

Q: Please can you tell me what size bags do I have to buy for it.

I use Fellows re-cyclable bags in a 100-bag roll no 36052 although there is another number - CRC36052 - printed on the box, too. They fit and I find the trick is not to let the bin over-full. I empty the bags into a big black dutbin bag. I then re-use the Fellows bag either in my office or bathroom waste bin.I lubricate the rollers every couple of bags. I find the trick here is to use the Fellows special oil, making sure it's nice and warm, every third lubrication, and 3 in 1 oil the other times, again making sure its warm. If you use too much make sure you clean out the paper way with kitchen roll. If the oil gets onto the paper you are shredding, the motor will keep stopping I assume because the safety system gets triggered. Don't put CD's etc through the paper slot = use the special slot. Always unplug the power lead before doing any maintenance.
