This couscous is beautiful! The grains are super tiny, so you get a large volume of very fluffy couscous! Now that I’ve tried this, I can say that I prefer a slightly larger grain, but I have no problems with this product and will happily use it up!

If I'm going to eat couscous I'll eat made in Morocco every time. I think it's made the good old fashioned way!

A product of Morocco this 2.2 pound bag of medium coarse couscous is an excellent staple to keep on-hand. It is made with only one ingredient—100 percent durum wheat semolina. The flavor is lightly nutty, grainy and hearty. It serves as a good substitute to rice for curry and stir fry dishes, makes a good hot breakfast cereal, can be used to stuff bell peppers along with cold and hot salads, etc. The directions on the bag state to combine 1/2 cup of the couscous with 1/2 cup hot water (near boiling), cover and let rest 5 minutes then fluff and serve. To estimate shelf-life at the time of this review in August 2024 the Best By date is 11 months in the future but dates will vary. Versatile, quick and easy to prepare—and good tasting.

This is great couscous and when we added herbs de provence, it made an amazing side dish. It's very fine and of good quality. We love that it's non-GMO.
