This is a Teak Wood Gong striker Mallet hand made in Indonesia.......... The red 'cushion' is wrapped in rope and is quite hard....you can work it soft, if that is the sound you are looking for. this handsome Striker is 8" long and made of Teakwood....it would sell for more than $60 in your local music store....if they ever had something so exotic!!!
