Light, Compact, with just enough of what you need to catch a fish while backpacking.And at a great price too.I'm very satisfied with it and just what I needed for backpacking.I don't normally plan to go fishing while backpacking, but it sure is great to know that I have that option with this kit!

This kit has everything (except a pole or rod) you'd need to fish in an emergency situation, or replace some items in a standard kit. I haven't used this but opening it up and going through it the hooks, lures, etc. all seem to be of good quality; plus it comes with a small instruction manual on how to set up a fishing pole with it in the event you find yourself outdoors in a survival situation. The kit is compact, lightweight and easily stowed in your bag.

Great pre made fire kit. Used to supplement already owned fire making items in order to make a complete kit. Wish the ferocium rod was thicker, but works good as a secondary. Magnesium capsules are great. No more shaving from a block and ruining the edge of your knife. Add a mini bic and some uco matches and you have a pretty good fire kit.

Firesteel is cheap and almost unusable. Some of the stuff is ok but when I use this product up I probably will not rebuy

The media could not be loaded.  I purchased this kit for my bug out bag. It contains everything you need to catch yourself some fish. All items in this kit seem to be of good quality. This would make a great gift for Backpackers, hikers, fisherman, and survivalist. Or a nice little kid. Just to throw in your trunk just for emergencies.

I haven't had to use this yet, or gone on a trip to use it out but it has everything you need. It is really light weight and it hardly takes up any room in my bug out bag.
