I was pleasantly surprised that this has held up as well as it has - it is significantly less cost than some of the others, but has worked great and looks to have a lot of life left in it.Update- yes, it works great, but kee in mind that if you have a big job this item doesn’t have the thickness of the more expensive units- compare pics and you’ll see. Not a problem, but be aware.

I have to grind the paint off the wall in our garage. This made the task easy vs other ways to remove the paint. I paired it with a dust shroud attached to a shop vacuum.

I got this to grind down some high concrete spots. Much cheaper than the harbor freight equivalent with no downsides. Comparable quality and maybe even better longevity.This will fit a DeWalt 4.5" battery powered grinder no problem. It just screws on.FYI, this will wear out quickly, that is not a negative, just the nature of the beast.

Had to remove porcelain tiles for repair and used this grinder wheel to remove the thinset. It cut thru it like butter. This absolutely the best way to remove thinset. Other grinder stones are slow. Also recommend a dust free shroud for the angle grinder that you hook up to a shop vac for a dust free grinding experience.

A diamond segmented surface grinding wheel is the only way to remove 'thinset' quickly and efficiently. Stop wasting your money on tile scraping tools to remove thinset. Tile scraping tools will not remain sharp long enough to put a dent in any job requiring thinset removal. Additionally, significant difference with regard to 'pain and suffering' effects when the task is completed utilizing a grinding wheel vs tile scraper. Highly recommend the addition of a dust shroud attachment and wetting the surface to be removed. My area was approximately 7x10. Finished thinset removal in under 3hrs only because my shop vac did not meet minimum threshold requirement as it pertained to CFM.
