Great idea
Simple to use. Easy to fill with a plant. Blends in great in the tank. It is every thing I had hoped for. Well worth the small price

It works with a small modification.
As some of the post states, it does not fit a standard-rimmed fish tank. Had to cut the top tabs off and it drops right in using the longer brackets that came with it. Perfect for my Pothos plant to sit and an added bonus of a great hiding place for fry.

Doesn't fit rimmed tank
I got this for a 40 gallon rimmed breeder tank, but the largest brackets don't fit with the slots I was able to slip one of the old suction cup brackets from a heater into the slot and attach it inside the tank like that. I have pothos in it, hold really well. It does what it's supposed to just didn't work with the brackets.

Overpriced
No worth the money , you can get similar plastic container for $2-3 or repurpose old one you already have . Like cleaning sponge container.

Just what i needed
product is sturdy/well constructed and the perfect size for the back of my fish tank. i have filled it with Bio-Balls and have planted a Pothos plant in it. the slits are to big for most planting aquarium substrates, but i use Bio-ball in my in tank planters anyways. back clips come with different sizes to fit tank rim. the largest size fits my 20 gal nicely. i ordered two more to stretch along the back of my tank. more room for more beneficial house plants in my aquarium.

Works well, may need larger gravel for the slots.
I've seen lots of DIY plant holders, but I've got too many projects already, so it was nice to find one ready made. I like the simple style which blends well with my tank. I've got bamboo in it right now. Using gravel to hold the stems in place, and the gravel can slip through the side slots, so something to keep in mind if you go that route. I'm sure many other plants spread well enough they could sit in loose.

Good deal
The color is good blends into the tank well, looks really nice. Shape is perfect. Stays stable on the edge like it should. Good value for the money. I have a lovely Adansonii growing out of my 35gal in this
