PPP Eye-Safe for Pets

As a professional groomer I tried the product in our salon. It does create a protective layer over the dogs eyes but when you wash it off it leaves a greasy residue on the hair around the eye which affects the finished look of the pet. Will not continue to use the product. If you aren't doing high-end grooming or show grooming it may be okay, otherwise don't use.

Im pretty sure this stuff works great. I have 4 shihTzu with large eyes who get baths on a regular basis. And I use this before each bath to prevent dirty water from going into their eyes and giving them an infection, or to keep their eyes protected from the shampoo and conditiones. my babies don'tever complain so I assume its working as Rinsing used to be way more difficult that it is now. would buy again and would recommend. I believe it didn't take hardly any time

I was recommended this from a dog owner on youtuber. I saw that she raves about this product. It really works!!! If you have a puppy that you bath yourself! Buy it! Don’t let them be miserable in the bath! It protects your pup eyes if soap gets in. Even restless shampoo can make a bath for a puppy scary. I used almost half a bottle already. About to buy another bottle! Keep your pups eye safe before baths! Just two drops in one eye is enough! Won’t irritate their eye!

I used this product and the following morning my dog had red, swollen eyes and he was unable to fully open his eyes. He was evaluated by the vet and diagnosed with bilateral corneal abrasions and is now on medication and requires close follow up. My vet said that they do not recommend these type of products because they can actually trap soap in the eye and cause more damage than if just soap alone gets into the eye. Recommend discussing this and/or similar products with your vet prior to use.

If Petsmart Grooming had used this, my puppy would have not needed eye surgery 3x. They paid for 2 botched surgeries. I paid for 3rd at UTK Small Animal Clinic at the University.

My poor dog has mites and we need to bath him three times a week with a very strong soap that is impossible to keep out of his eyes. This does the trick of protecting his eyes. Would recommend it to anyone that is bathing their dogs as the puppy's eyes are very important. Easy to use and well tolerated even for my Boston Terriers.
