Easy to install, very sturdy also plenty of space for the echo, I have the echo show 8 with stand and it fits no problem and still have a couple inches of room .

I truly would recommend purchasing a shelf from the HomeMount store. This allows for your Show 5 or Show 8 to be placed in an area that is easily viewable and off of a counter, tabletop, or dresser.
