Nice book

This is NOT the proper ending of the Pied Piper of Hamelin. If you want a book that teaches children that their actions have no consequences, this book is for you! Otherwise, steer clear. Very disappointed that the description does not at all mention the alternate/false ending. I would have never bought it if I had known. The only reason I gave it two stars is because the illustrations are very beautiful and the flaps are a fun feature.

Not the story we all know and love - why ruin this classic tale? The rats don't drown, the children come back ... honestly, if your child is still too young or sensitive for the proper version, wait until they are older, don't give them this sanitised nonsense. And the flip-ups aren't very exciting.

Pristine condition. Just what I wanted for my year 4 class.

clean second hand book as described. Think the content will be light enough not to scare our 2-4 year olds!

Happy ending version of this story, suitable for my four year old who wanted to know the story of the Pied Piper and her mother who didn't want her to have bad dreams!

I expected Brownings poem so was disappointed to find it presented as a story. however the child for whom it was a present loves it
