Well built, reliable and fast. A great phone.
Firstly I must stress that I am not in anyway connected to Motorola . I bought the G73 5G because my previous phone was a G50. I wanted something with more RAM and more storage space. The G73 has both with 8gb of RAM, 16 if you use the 8gb ram boost and 256gb ROM . The 16gb of RAM certainly makes this mobile fast and personally the 256gb of memory is enough not to warrant the use of an SD card for additional storage which means I can use two sims. Also being security conscious it occurred to me one day that it is ok locking the phone and the sim(s) to protect your data but if you have a memory card in there all the criminal has to do is pop your sd card out to harvest a lot of info. Far better to go for lockable internal storage and do without the card or use the slot for another sim. I can't fault it. Android 14 is a delight to use and the screen is bright and clear . It came with two helpful additions, a clear case and a charging plug plus cable which has a USB 2 connector at both ends. This is useful if you need to connect two phones together as when you set up a new phone or if you want to transfer data to/from a laptop. I just wish all manufacturers would fit a screen protector as standard. I've got the knack with that now but it is so much easier if it is pre fitted. If you don't want one it's easier to take one off than to put one on. I estimate an average user would get two days of battery usage and the charging is quite speedy. The camera is good. I'm no photographer so can't make any valid comparisons. The only function I don't like is the fingerprint recognition being on the on off switch. It works fine until you use a back cover then it's not so reliable but this is a personal preference. As to appearance. Well, guess what, it looks like a mobile phone.

Laughably good phone for those not needing bells and whistles
I purchased this for £139. It IMMEDIATELY goes into my list of top tem purchases ever. It replaces an aging Samsung S5. Yes, that's not a typo, an S5 running Android 6.0.1 Using this is like night and day. Response times to touch (though app swipe up to close can be particularly 'fine'), app opening and gestures are very good to use. However, the battery life is suss. It charges quickly (Fast charger included in this deal) but depletes quickly only to go to fantastic power-saving. Like a lot of modern Android devices the power saving on the last 20% will last about as long as the device running on 100% to 21%. And this is after pruning notifications and beacons on the thing. The Camera is more than adequate for me (If I wanted proper pictures I'd buy an SLR...) and the built-in storage given on this model is insanely generous (256GB, 231GB usable). Fingerprint sensor is fine and responsive. The only issue I have is app-wise in that the music player is atrocious. I replaced it with VLC (Free) and that's not intuitive at all. The included SMusic player with the S5 runs ring around both regarding usability, though VLC is like using the Tsar Bomba to crack a nut. This is important to me as I use my phones for 2 things (Apart from 2FA) Music and Calls. Calls are ok, I use one of many pair of headphones in particular. Music is frustrating but doable. However, looking at the value at THAT price point it's a 1st world problem indeed...

Great phone for a very good price
Loving the phone a couple months in, works like a dream, plenty of memory and fast too. Only downside is when you key in your pin and have to press the enter button, and photos are through Gallery which isn't great. Aside of that still a fab phone with all the features you would expect and an outstanding camera that takes perfect pics.

Great phone, Great Price 👍🙂
Brilliant phone. Well worth the money. I bought it to update my g9 play. Motorola know how to produce a good quality and good price phone! Easy to transfer everything over. Just connect old phone to new with SIM in and it guides you through easy instructions, then automatically transfers perfectly 👍👌🙂

Very impressed
Right out of the box I was impressed by this phone. It looks lovely I couldn't believe the high end look & feel of it. When I started to set it up it got even better. It was a cinch - the easiest set up I've ever had. Notwithstanding the fact it was connected at its suggestion to an old phone with Android o.s. several generations earlier it seamlessly copied everything across & set itself up. It just cloned. The phone is beautifully smooth in operation & instantly responsive no doubt due to the higher RAM of its processor .The technical improvements are very impressive too. It moves from 4 to 5G & from network to WiFi calling instantly & totally automatically. The internal memory capacity is great at 256 GB. I chose this phone over more expensive Motorola models because it had the capacity to expand that memory way further with a micro SD card - the "higher end" seem to lack this. I like the portability of a micro SD though. Apart from portability this was probably unnecessary but I'm old & set in my ways. However it availed me the opportunity to discover that this model at around £150 gives me everything & more I could ask for. If I was holding something that had cost me around £400+ I'd be thinking "so this is what I've been missing" & still be pleased with my purchase. At the price I've paid I'm delighted! The screen is very good. The adjustment for brightness is way more sensitive than anything I've had previously. And the ability to adjust the colour like on your TV is I admit unknown to me. The sound too is great. Again there are various tweaks & adjustments readily available which I haven't hitherto enjoyed. Sitting playing through it's twin stereo speakers the sound is perfectly acceptable. Connected to earbuds via Bluetooth (again a seamless operation) the sound is excellent. I also noticed the volume potential is way better than anything I've had previously. The sound can be adjusted for different categories of media too. Even the ring & notification sounds are sophisticated & left "as is" are just right for me. The phone has NFC - not something you can automatically expect in this price range. The keyboard I'm typing on is also beautifully spaced & clear. I have big chunky fingers after a lifetime of manual work but they fit on it! I've never bought Motorola before. I don't do iPhones I was always put off by their limititations in apps, lack of memory expansion & small screen size. But I acknowledge they're a great looking & quality product with usually a great camera. So is this Motorola, in every way.

Good phone for the price point
The phone was easy to set up and using the included USB, I was able to copy information directly from my old phone. The screen was perfect for my regular usage of text, the odd but of social media and YT/movies. With regards to the camera, at times it's slow to respond and doesn't zoom anywhere near as good as the higher priced well known phones. It's adequate for video calls and a snapshot but the quality issue is more apparent when printing out photos. The touch screen was good but with the phone I received, it was a bit unresponsive in a couple spots. (I think that the one sent to me was previously owned as the box showed signs of being opened.) The fingerprint reader was easy to set up and only occasionally took multiple tries to unlock due to the phone case I use to oroithe phone. Ah, before I forget, place the phone into your case BEFORE you put on a screen protector. I did it after and the case pulled up one corner of the protector necessitating the application of a new protector. The battery is a bit harder to rate, as mentioned earlier, I suspect I was sent a used phone and required charging up more than once in the day. I did remove loads of the pre-installed apps and disabled loads more so the battery draining quickly wasn't due to that. Also the location was turned off so that's off the list of a possible cause. Using the provided cable and a fast rate of charge plug means that it's not long to get back up to 100%. I do like the feature of setting up a profile/family space where you can limit what apps/features are available when you let someone else use the phone, be it a child or someone else. I quite like the amble storage space and the option to extend it via the second spot on the SIM tray. Or you could use the second spot to receive work calls or pop in a local SIM card if you're travelling about.
